I've never seen Dodgeball but didn't like the rest of them except the first half of Tropic Thunder. I did like There's Something about Mary, Heavyweights and Meet the Parents though.

This is from the DVD that comes with "Now & Forever" at around the 1'55" mark, and is the actual subtitle. It's a great CD/DVD set, well worth owning!

I agree Krys - no reason to be worried (based on 70K/Barge history & this drawn-out announcement drama being pretty much business as usual) - it's just that it gets old and even somewhat flat-out goofy at this point being the 5th time round... which is one of the reasons why I'm taking a breather from UMC cruises for awhile. Granted the Prog Nation at Sea is not to many people's taste here, but they were magically able to produce & announce the majority of their line-up prior to the 1st day of booking (my booking time slot based on my pre-sale sign-up is this Tuesday).

So, as many of us have often asked in one way or another - what gives?

Agreed as well. Nothing to worry about.

Just before 70k Tons 2012, the last band was announced three days before the cruise set sail more or less.

This time around we went from a TON of hype, to regular announcements, to a dry spell. Remember the words of the skipper, "BIG SURPRISE(S) on the horizon.

Unless he meant this dry spell was a the second surprise he was talking about. In which case I will be pissed.

Over three months with no signs of life.

If there isn't something by Saturday I'll be pulling out of 70K2014 as this is when I was going to book my flights.

Maybe I'll put the holiday funds to Wacken or similar.

Trying to look on the brightside, we are at least historically reaching a point in the year when announcements come regularly. First two cruises we had 7 announcements in September. Last cruise we only had the one - but it was the triple-header of Helloween, Kreator, and Gotthard (and BTH there were no announcements in September OR October - but lets not even think about that!!).
