My dear Deb, what part of "MOTORHEAD IS PLAYING A GIG AT THE ANAHEIM HOB ON JANUARY 25TH" doesn't register in your exceedingly blonde brain? Just wondering.

It has been pointed out at LEAST 7 times on here already...

Hasn't that been debunked already once the Nevermore/Symphony X tour was announced? Clearly Warrel was smooching butt on the headliner.

Well maybe slightly debunked but their schedule is wide open during that time nonetheless.

Barren Earth have the same chance as Rotten Sound as they are on the same tour (with Finntroll & Enseferium). Unless of course you use the logic that Rotten Sound is too extreme for this cruise (no other grind bands onboard).

Deicide cancel every tour they plan and I don't see Glen wanting to socialize with people for 4 days.

Turisas seems to fit the mold of groups they book. And unless negotiations broke down, Cradle of Filth (same tour) will be announced with them as well.

I have more reason to believe that Barren Earth will be on the cruise, I'll leave it at that.

Cradle of Filth is a possibility, their touring schedule seems to align, they have a TBC date on the 28th of January though... which could conflict with the cruise.
Turisas' last European date is on the 22nd of January... their next date is January 29th in Mexico so... very possible.

I heard something about Deicide being on it and I wouldn't be surprised. Most of the bands that have been booked for this cruise are all with the same booking agency. "First Row Talent". So the likelihood of Symphony X being on the cruise is greater... as they're also with First Row Talent :). Again, these are all speculations! I guess we wont know for sure until they're announced.
Wishlist 70K 2016: Aborted, At the Gates, Devin Townsend, Kreator, Panzerfaust, Rotting Christ.

annnnd the Sym X / Nevermore (et al) tour kicks off in europe Feb 25th. This would be a great warm-up before Europe (musically and meteorologically :heavydrink: )

The last two announcments have certainly been anti-climatic for me, although after checking out Dusk Machine they sound kinda' cool, nothing mind blowing but interesting.

I'm starting to wonder if these last few announcments are going to be nothing special, I thought they still had to announce the "Headliners", were we misinformed somewhere along the lines? I can't even remember where this information came from. No worries though for me as there are enough killer bands in the lineup that I'm already a happy metal head but I still have my fingers crossed for a big announcment.

I'm sure they are holding off because they want to give us all an awesome christmas present of three mega-awesome, liked by everbody, bands.

Well okay, that is obviously not possible but I do think we'll know the last 3 bands in the next few days :givebeer:

Well isn't the ship still in Sweden? and someone in another forum said that they heard no more North American bands will be picked up...so I'll go out there and predict that last bands will be Cradle of Filth (with all the rumors, and Andy stating in an interview that no bands turned down the request to play, so I see them as being practically confirmed) Arch Enemy (Doing the summer festivals, so I can see it), Immortal (may be a long shot, but would be sweet. There is simply no as much Black Metal as I expected), or Children of Bodom (announced Wacken 2011 appearance the other day, may be that band that motivates people to sell the final cabins). That's four, but I woudnt be shocked if 2 or 3 of those bands get added.

But we'll have to wait and see

Throwing Turisas out there again, their tour dates align -perfectly- with the cruise.
I'm thinkin' CoF and Turisas are on.

So far at least, 2011, 2012 & 2015 were enough for me

But I think we can all see that they need that one bigger-mainstream act to sell the final cabins.

Even though they are not "big" in my world, wouldn't CoF qualify as something kinda big? Turisas won't sell any cabins at this point. So that leaves 1 potential semi heavy hitter left.

Maybe they will have another Canadian Supergroup, the Power Trio of Andy, Blake and Allison. :shred:

It's kinda' puzzling because if there waiting to drop a "Heavy hitter" to help sell the last few cabins I think they may have waited to long, giving someone about a month to plan for a trip like this is pushing it a bit, then again maybe there are people out there sitting, waiting to see if a big name gets dropped to make them decide if they want to go. Honestly at this point, if there aren't enough bands to get you excited into going I don't see how one band is going to change that.
