    Australia Day In Miami

    by carlynjason » Tue Jan 07, 2014 2:34 am

OK, so as the forum suggests are a few aussies (not a huge amount but enough to cause a broo-haa-haa ) are on the cruise,
to display our mighty national pride will be on the beach in a set of flags that will be considered A: Stupid B: Stupid and Drunk C: Stupid, Drunk and possibly brain damaged.
Asking all fellow travellers to join us on this day for a beer or two at the beach party (as gonna be there anyway)
and would love all the Aussies to get a bit of a chant going ( after a few, not sober oc  )

26th, right? I guess most of us (Aussies or not) will be at the beach (where 8th Street meets the beach) in the afternoon.

If your head/neck is so big that it needs a flag wrapped around it, i think you may have larger issues at hand.

I mean flag fabric is pretty thin.... can we settle on 80's style leg warmers and be done with it?

^^ about vegemite, however i tend to lather my toast in it so thick you can't see the toast.

My wife, children and other Australians generally cringe at my breakfast toast eating antics

Actually i think WMDs are ok, just don't try to walk in with your shoes on, American s love to smell the sweaty socks of people who haven't changed them for 30 hours. At least that's the only explanation i can think of after i arrived there last year from a 30hr journey and they asked me to take my shoes off. I travel all over Asia pacific as a part of my job, never have to take my shoes off. America is a special place, where things are different to anywhere else. The security guy who asked me to take them off screwed his face up in horror, however still let me into the country..
