There's never enough Doom on the boat. At most on just about any cruise I believe we've only had one doom band per cruise. Doesn't make any sense to me.

YES!!!

There were a couple the only year I've been in 2012, My Dying Bride and Candlemass, but normally doom is poorly represented.

I'd love to see Ahab on a boat. Also Tyranny, Esoteric, Solitude Aeturnus, Evoken, Skepticism, Sunn O))), Eagle Twin, and would be nice to see MDB again for their 25th anniversary, and because their original guitarist is back.

I 100% support this post and the bands mentioned by everyone who's commented thus far! In my dream world 70K, I'd pick from bands like Ahab, Shape of Despair, My Dying Bride, The Foreshadowing, Thunderstorm, Bethlehem, Esoteric, Evoken, Skepticism, Candlemass, Draconian, Saturnus, Funeral (old and new), Rapture, old Within Temptation, Virgin Black... Okay, now I'm going off on a tangent, but one thing's for sure... We need MORE DOOM!!

...but for me the most overwhelming Reunion on the boat would be REVEREND BIZZARRE!!!

No, trust me... You actually want Trouble with new vocalist Kyle. He's fit like a hand in a torn black leather glove. Eric and Oly now have their own new band called The Skull and are releasing their debut in the fall sometime I believe so let's get both then they can have a dark and doomy love-fest and gather together at various times during their combined 4 sets

I agree about everything on this thread so far. Saturnus for sure and Ahab as well. Rune's arm should be healed before January I would think. So far, this will be a spa trip for me. Not one single band I want to see so far. We really need some DOOM!!

Ok, I ve never seen them live with Kyle...! He sings quite good on the new Album, so of course why don´t give him a chance...!
I saw THE SCULL on the Hammer of Doom Festival two years ago...they where only playing songs from the first 2 Trouble albums...was really great!

Never been enough Doom Metal on the boat imo,I did notice some people complaining when doom is played over the intercom.Things like "what is with this slow sh*t " and other things.Candlemass doesn't tour at all anymore and is solely doing festivals and boats,so them and Avatarium would be a good way to get 2 bands on (Evergrey playing on tour would screw this up on add them also).

Some Doom would be great. As I'm more into epic doom I'd prefer Candlemass, Procession, Forsaken and Avatarium. But also My Dying Bride woud be great.

I never thought of Agalloch as a doom metal band. I always thought of them as the kind of band that I would hear if I were to ever stumble into a Starbucks.

Dopesmoker is a lovely little 63 minute opus. If you have heard Jerusalem, you have heard a most of it. They cut/remixed/changed parts of Dopesmoker to make the Jerusalem release. The song is good, but I still prefer Holy Mountain overall. I'd just like to see all of Dopesmoker, not parts live.

Reverend Bizare would be awesome also, if they would reunite for a show.
