As much as I enjoy the classics done well... No. Just a bad idea on so many levels. Leave that shit to the passengers during jams and drunken deck parties :headbanger:
So far at least, 2011, 2012 & 2015 were enough for me

No cover bands! I'm not forking out all this money to see a band play cover tunes that I could see at a local bar with a 5 dollar cover charge. Fuck that!

yup, there are just way too many good originals to waste time and space with tribute bands. Don't get me wrong, I like watching a "good" tribute gig now and then, but not on the boat, no way.

    Exactly! Case in Point-

There is a bar 1/4 of a mile up the road from me called "One Eyed Jacks" and tomorrow night "Problem Child" are playing for free.

Man, if someone started a thread "Who would you like to see resurrected for the cruise?" Bon Scott would get my vote, that guy was the very definition of balls-out rock n roll: drunk, dirty, raunchy, broken toothed and funny as hell! LONG LIVE BON!

:givebeer: and a WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE!

I hate tribute bands. Write an interesting song on your own and I'll give it a listen.

no shit,,youre spending 2 grand for a ride on ship, and food, and music. It was just a suggestion, Incase they did not get 40 bands or need some timeslot filled.

how does 1or 2 good tribute bands filling a slot = spending 2 grand on "gay ass tributes"?

I actually saw the Iron Maidens before when i was at March metal day in Athens in 08.They were quite good. The singer even climbed part of the stage like Bruce does.
Also the bassist actually looked like Steve Harris.Thought that was kinda scary

We saw 'em twice with their old singer Aja Kim (who sued the band and lost recently), they were a blast, I suppose the bass player does "slightly" resemble Harris, although instead of gritting her teeth and singing along she smiles like she is playing Bangles music or something...

Well worth catching if you have the opportunity.
