Heaps of S bands on the wishlists. Most requested:
Is there still the letter “S” in the distance?

But since they are there maybe some announments during the festival.I take Inquisition , Candlemass ,Carcass ,Nightwish and Kataklysm please.
I kind of hope for Inquisition as well
I have 4 limited edition vinyl albums from them I would like signed.
2 bound in goat leather and 2 bound in cow leather
I just don't want to have to travel with them

The Araya's are also good friends with Robin Mazen (70K Merch Queen and bassist for Gruesome/Castrator/Derketa)... but who isn't? She's awesome.
I did hear that Kerry King and Tom Araya must have hated being on the Motorboat though because they flew home early after they were done playing their set so idk.

MetalStorm.net wrote:...apparently the cruise organizers moved mountains to accommodate Satyricon so they could practice with fill-in drummer Dirk while already on the boat. So, after they played "K.I.N.G.", which I assumed was the last song anyway since their allotted time of 60 minutes was up, Satyr told the audience that "it was great for you to come out" and "you will see me around the ship" and that "this was the first and last time I will ever play on 70000 Tons Of Metal again" - what? Rumor has it that they were going to play one more song but were told no, since their time was up

s is a hard one - so many bands
a lot of 2011 bands return - so Amon Amarth may be a good guess if A is used again - but I think Armored Saint would be a better add ( Oh Hell ... why not both )

On an entirely different note, does anyone have a record of all the bands that have been booked on 70k (and Barge) before? The site isn't showing previous years' lineups, and I wanted to see. For science.
