FUCK YEAH Demolition Hammer!!!

I was in the middle of the grocery store when I saw the announcement, so I jumped up for joy and yelled "YEAAAAAAH BUDDY!!!" with a big shit eating grin on my face. I'm pretty sure people thought I was crazy, or won the lotto or maybe both.

Hoping for Vampire, or Vektor for the next announcement! Vampire fits because they are nocturnal monsters.

Yes I totally understand the excitement here ,for me it would be a Wrathchild America Reunion,that would be the equivalent.This is good enough ,similar bands best unknown drummers and bass players in thrash metal.70k is The North America Thrash Bash ,this year.

I have a feeling the next announcement is gonna be Venom, or maybe even Venom Inc. to change things up a bit.

Lots of other good V bands to choose from too; Vreid, Vampire, Vital Remains, Vhol, Vesperia.....or just keep the boat thrashing and give us Vektor!!

A Vomitory reunion would be amazing.. but unlikely.....or how about Vintersorg....followed by a B for Borknagar!!!

I don't think Vintersorg has played live in quite some time, but maybe Andreas could be convinced to pull double duty. Big time wishful thinking but we've seen it happen before on 70K..especially last year (Bloodbath, Katatonia, Paradise Lost, Vallenfyre).

I'll throw my longshot out there. Vattnet Viskar has an album called Sky Swallower and the Settler album cover is a play on the Apollo mission that blew up. Kinda sorta sky?

I'd definitely take Vintersorg though!

Also, wasn't Van Canto one of the bands Andy blacklisted for not being metal...like Goatwhore. I will bring this up every year until Goatwhore gets booked.

Nope - I was informed from a reliable source that Van Canto were actually asked to play in 2016, but were unable to do it.
