I was looking at the shore excursions, but only the stingrays really interest me and I'm not sure how worth it they'll be as opposed to just exploring the island at my own pace. I'll opt to beach bum it this year.

I was gonna do the Gibbs Cay Stingray Encounter even before they announced it as a band encounter... I recommend googling it, it looks amazing

48 hours? But I want it now! Lead passenger got a check in email but mine hasn't arrived yet. Now we play the waiting game.

I'm not the lead passenger on my reservation but received the email anyway. Definitely check your spam folder; that's where mine came in.

I want the last 7 bands to be a surprise when we look at the physical program guide.

It would be pretty dope if there was one big band that we learned about upon boarding. Amon Amarth or Nightwish would be a sweet stealth addition.

Yea that would pretty much mean that the schedule would never wind up in the 70K Bands app, or only be available to those who bought internet service.

    It would be ‘bad’

Finally got my check-in email! I think this was the first time I've checked in without getting at least one error from the Royal Caribbean website.

For the second year in a row, I encountered the dreaded "no way to continue" problem on the Set Up Onbroad Account screen, where you can't click to accept the terms if you dare to use Chrome or Firefox as your browser. As the nice chap from Royal told me when I called them, you have to use IE, Microsoft Edge or Safari.

Big multinational cruise company....can't be bothered to hire an IT guy to make their website more browser-friendly. TWO cheers for Royal!

Yeah, you were the first person I thought of when someone mentioned a last-minute "wow" addition to the schedule. It would be nifty!........and also Bad.

Huh. I did my checkin in both Chrome and Firefox (I needed my passport for part of it which I don't take to work with me) and had no issues.

Firefox worked fine for me. Did you scroll all the way through the terms and conditions? It won't let you select to continue until you get to the bottom of that.

Better yet, don't reveal the band until you see it. On the daily schedule have the 7 remaining bands labeled as question mark.

Please don't do this. Us type C personalities would go insane because we couldn't plan out our entire schedules. :)

If we don't see an announcement tonight, there's 7 more weekdays before the cruise. That's one announcement per night.

And all joking aside, if I saw "?" on the schedule, I probably wouldn't even bother checking them out. I have something like 30 sets to see this year. I probably won't even make all of those, so it'd be hard to get me to take time to find out if I like some mystery band.

It's entirely possible we may get at least one 'cluster' announcement with 3 bands at once. That'll make the lineup fill up rather quickly.

This, and also my anxiety wouldn't be too happy with the unknown.

I hope we start getting clusters. I have homework to do on the last 7 bands, and it would be nice to have a plan going in. Not gonna put stock in the apps this year, since it didn't work last year.

If I recall correctly, there was only one batch announcement (I.e. three bands) last year, right?

Ooh! I have some homework to do. I vaguely remember liking these guys? If only I could remember which album.

I hope it's not Psychostick. Perhaps Pagan's Mind? Or wait, is it perhaps time for Primordial?

Is shedding a tear part of the clue? A band that starts with "P" that has something to do with crying or being sad?

If it's Powerwolf I'll be crying with joy.

That would be too good to be true. That, or Pyramaze. But none of them fit the clue.

Psychostick would be awesome though! I mean if Powerglove can be booked for the cruise, Psychostick could be.

Pist*On recently reunited, Powerwolf would make my cruise, and I'd be happy with Paradise Lost

That's my line of thinking. Psychostick will be this year's "Trollfest" in terms of wackiness.

Belphegor should please the people who were thirsty for more black metal, although they are not black metal per se but more blackened death metal

I was wishing for Borknagar but I still keep my hopes until the very end.

P for Paradise Lost, come oon Andy!!!!

I would LOVE Psychostick. Oh my god. That would make me so happy.

Extremely unlikely, but I'd love Population Reduction, which is a funny grind band. Black Metal Beach Party perfectly works for the cruise, ha.

Phobia is a more likely but still unlikely grind band.

Then there's what, Persefone, that's good, we won't have Psycroptic this year since they were on the last... Primordial would be great. PRONG, there's Prong. Pelican, but unlikely. Okay. I'm gonna hope for Prong I guess, lol.
