What I REALLY would like to see.

Yeah, and while we're at it, let's give love to the Canadian little guys. Ravenous E.H., Red Cain, Mongol, Volition, Scythia, Divinity, Apprentice, and those are just a selection from Alberta/BC. What about Silent Civilian, who are a small time American band I've been asking for since I got here. What about dEMOTIONAL, a small Swedish band that I used to like, but since they basically became Sausagefest Amaranthe I'm sure someone else will like them.

Andy tries. It's an international festival, and he books smaller bands from all over the place every year. There's just a *lot*, and since the audience is predominantly North American it's more interesting to book bands from other continents.

Also, I thought Trouble HAD played a cruise. Didn't an old cruiser from Vancouver lose his shit when they got announced?

I knew this post sounded familiar, so I looked back in time a bit...

What I really would like 70k to do is to help promote and give exposure to some smaller USA bands. Be it Death Metal (Khazaadum), or be it Doom metal (Beast Maker), or be it Power Metal (Conniption) or be it Thrash metal (Wrath) or Art Metal (Shaolin Death Squad). We all know that without exposure, there will be no new Rhapsody to replace old one. There will be no new Sepultura to replace the old one. Yet, somehow, smaller USA bands never get exposure. Band like Noble Beast would love to play the ship, same with Conniption and Wrath (I personally know guys from Wrath and Noble Beast and Conniption). Beast Maker are incredible. Yet, we get shown bands that are very little known, but are not from USA. IF we do not support bands which are small now, they will never become big. I can name 20 other great smaller bands. "Trouble", for example. Who are good enough to be on the ship and who's shows would be SUPERB. Last year Touch The Sun was VERY impressive. As was Ghost Ship Octavius, both have only one Album out. I would love to see bands like Conniption, Wrath, Shaolin Death Squad, Beast Maker, Noble Beast to be given exposure and a chance to make it big. Thank you
Welcome back "gargles with sulfuric acid" guy! (but going incognito with a new username) When are you gonna make your "I hate this lineup because any band that uses death growls sucks!" post?

Give him two minutes, he has to warm up with his "waaaahhhh nobody listens to my friends' bands!!" posts (cause we all know that there's nothing I'd rather do with $3000 than listen to a bunch of tiny American bands). Plus he has to selectively ignore any posts that discuss shit like the cripper award.

70K never books relatively unknown US bands? Yep, I must've just dreamed that Seven Spires was on the boat last year.

Especially obvious given that he word-for-word reused his post from last year, talking about bands from last year and the year before that have nothing to do with the current lineup
