That is the new SOOOON apparently.

I was stuck down here in Mexico in a kinda shitty job. No internet
I'm not 100% convinced it will go down like that. Has there ever been a corelation between HM and 70K announcements? I don't think so.....
No way - you gotta be bang on.
Well, this has stirred up some debate in the past.
<checks watch>My #New prediction is an announcement from HeavyMTL. If not during the festival, then on Monday.
Who cares wins? But that still means nobody wins.
FAQ on the home page has already been updated for 2020 and says 4 month payment plan is available up to September 29th. They've got to be closer than a month away though.
Ah yes, I was thinking 4 months , but 4 monthly payments is actually only a three month timeframe (Sept 29-Oct 29-Nov-29 Dec-29) so it could still conceivably be over a month away.PotatoPotahto wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2019 4:37 pmFAQ on the home page has already been updated for 2020 and says 4 month payment plan is available up to September 29th. Someone reported on FB that Andy said no announcements this weekend (“Not THAT soon... but soon”).
I'd argue that band announcements are PART of the logistics, bringing down the rest of the relatively smooth sailing that happens with the festival. Though you're right, he still run a tight ship, despite the fact that he can't get girlie merch right.Pellaz wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2019 2:57 pm Really, no-one wins because Andy keeps playing us like a cheap fiddle. And we keep coming back because, after all is said and done, the lineup will be at least decent or "adequate," the crowd is awesome and diverse, and logistically the festival is still pretty fucking amazing.
I'm sure the Skipper will be able to find new ways to slip gaps in.Danny24601 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 11:56 am On the bright side, once announcements start there can't be a big announcement gap! As there simply isn't time for one.....

First Announcements:
2019 cruise - August 31 (154 days to go)
2018 cruise - July 3 (213 days to go)
2017 cruise - July 8 (211 days to go)
2016 cruise - June 25 (224 days to go)
2015 cruise - March 15 (313 days to go)
2014 cruise - March 31 (301 days to go)
2013 cruise - June 27 (215 days to go)
2012 cruise - April 18 (280 days to go)
2011 cruise - December 18 (2009) (402 days to go)
You must have taken a long break
I think the difference is that the cruise is almost a month earlier than this year.
Yes, that's why I said the best you can hope for is tomorrow. But I truly don't think it'll be before August. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Not a correlation, but every time they’ve had a presence there, announcements had already previously started. I would say that showing up there this year with nothing to display (bands, 2020 logo, nothing) is about the strangest thing I’ve ever seen from UMC. Why waste the time and money?
Right you are!
Him getting a second shot doesn't bother me, but since he's talking about his August 7th, wouldn't that still be August 6th here in NA technically?
