No ,this happened before and the cruise disappeared, the people who were booked got their cruise cancelled. The 7-11 block actually confirms it is the same ship.

After they inform the people who already booked that cruise,I imagine this bit of news lit a fire under Andy’s ass https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/2 ... 037173002/cowboy71 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 8:38 pmThey are not confirming or denying:deathmetalpat wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 8:22 pmNo ,this happened before and the cruise disappeared, the people who were booked got their cruise cancelled. The 7-11 block actually confirms it is the same ship.
"Ship details to be announced #SOON. Hang in there!"
It’s sad that after all these years, we’re now forced to adopt a “wait and see” stance regarding 70000 Tons.
Yeah, it's amazing how everything seems so uncoordinated and incompetently run before, say, two weeks prior to sailing...and then everything magically comes together during that last intense stretch.SavaRon wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 2:22 pm Wow, your timing is absolute shit. WTF, you have been at this for over 10 years and you announce this during a global pandemic with most cruise lines shutting down. No offense, but you all need to get help running this thing. The cruise is great once on board....before hand, not so much.
Now THAT is weird.cowboy71 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 8:38 pmThey are not confirming or denying:deathmetalpat wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 8:22 pmNo ,this happened before and the cruise disappeared, the people who were booked got their cruise cancelled. The 7-11 block actually confirms it is the same ship.

You are the cruise wizard, anyway to narrow down ships leaving from the either Miami/Ft. Lauderdale on the 7th and returning the 11th?Pellaz wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 3:16 pmNow THAT is weird.cowboy71 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 8:38 pmThey are not confirming or denying:deathmetalpat wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 8:22 pm

I'm guessing he planned to announce the 2021 dates at H&H festival in Mexico. Even with the world going to shit, he stuck with his plan.SavaRon wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 2:22 pm Wow, your timing is absolute shit. More information on our vessel for Round 11
will be released #SOON.
Voyage information has also been updated so whatever ship it is, it will be sailing out of Fort Lauderdale:

I already tried to explain this ,they just have to wait to cancel the cruisers on the ship (lol that is going to be easy) ,same thing happened when they moved to bigger ship from Majesty but I am the only person who seems to remember here.Ships do not change timetables, well I could have say that last month and it be true but all the cruise lines will be removing ships now.Demand for cruising will be off massively ,it won’t return to normal levels for years.mbob wrote: ↑Tue Mar 17, 2020 7:53 am It has to be the Independence. It is the only ship scheduled to depart from Fort Lauderdale on the 7th. There are 2 other ships but they are not a line that would charter this cruise. Cruise schedules are set over a year in advance. I can't imagine they will be moving another ship to that port on that day.

Another good source is VacationsToGo.com, where you can VERY easily search by homeport, port stops, ship, cruise line, etc. You'll have to register your email but it's not that bad; I get maybe one email from them every ten days. (Just don't book a cruise through them; their "discount off the brochure price" is generally the same as the direct price from the cruise-line.)mbob wrote: ↑Tue Mar 17, 2020 7:53 am It has to be the Independence. I think it will come down largely to protecting the more sensitive groups: the elderly, the infirm, the chronically ill, etc.
Maybe...but of course we won't find out for sure from Andy until late December 2020.If that's the case we can kiss goodbye to 70K.
Sadly in the midst of a Global Pandemic we also have the “Florida “ problem, instead of canceling a primary vote that had one yesterday. That along with not closing the beaches and being an international city inside America with a lot of older people. The only thing that is helping Florida is Vitamin D from the sun helps you ability to fight respiratory infections. But with the huge numbers, the help will be limited.314 cases and 7 deaths ,2 weeks from now the entire World will be even more different outside of a miracle.

You think there's gonna be any hand sanitizer left by then?
