    1) Turisas
    2) Kamelot
    3) Orphaned Land

I got a facebook msg the other day asking for my final 10 predictions and encouraging me to go crazy so here's where I went...

    Go crazy you say?

Well, I'd love to add Maiden & Priest but I don't think those are possible. Firstly, just because of money but, also, Halford is touring with Ozzy atm.

So, I guess I'll go with these 10:
    ...
Motorhead (or Scorpions & M.S.G.) as headliner
    Suicidal Tendencies
    Crowbar
    Candlemass
    Saint Vitus
    Accept
    Armored Saint
    Grave Digger
    Clutch
Devin Townsend (or Zimmer's Hole - Either one would make for some great potential combos with members of FF)

Man, I wish it was 10 days and 80 bands!!!
So far at least, 2011, 2012 & 2015 were enough for me
    :shred:Book 'em ANDO!! :headbanger:

One band you can not bother about picking, is RAMMSTEIN.

They been confirmed for the 2011 series of BIG DAY OUT festivals around Australia which run from January 23rd through to February 6th.

And sorry alex_canada, AIRBOURNE are out as they too are on the big day out lineup:

    Upcoming Gigs:
    Apocalyptica-/-Turilli Leone's Rhapsody-/-Fleshgod-Apocaplypse-/-Kalmah-/-Michael-Sweet-/-Halestorm

To the chagrin of some others on the board, RAMMSTEIN was my #1 pick for this event. However, common sense told me it is extremely unlikely... now I know it's not gonna happen.
OH, and I forgot to mention Belphegor on my list. But they're touring the U.S. in March so nevermind I guess.

And just as I was about to click "submit" I thought of another possible GREAT add... let's hear it for Flint, Michigan's grindcore pioneers... REPULSION!!!!!!!! That would be fuckin' brutal. :headbanger:

this is so cool, to see a someone from freaking mexico cast a vote for heidevolk. :viking:

    my list in random order:

heidevolk (i'll bet you didn't see that one coming ;) )
    dragonforce
    dethklok
    Turisas
Manowar (last time i made a mistake going to football instead of the concert)
    sabaton
    iron maiden
like i said before, 1 one of the big for would be great

and now it get's harder. do i want bands I already saw / heard or do I want bands I only know by name but never heard before....
I consider myself still a newby on metal, so i don't know that many bands, so the only reason why I choose bands which i have never heard before, if because I heard them by name from craxy mike ;) :beerwink: or some on TV
so in that case i would like to see / hear to following bands:

GWAR, just to see if they will keep their cistumes on the entire trip
cannibal corpse, because i want to know if they are really that evil. and, for a lamer reason, because they are the favorite band of Jim Carey. one of my favorite actors
    Hornblowing survivor of 70.000 tons of metal January 2011 / 2012 / 2015
counting down to 70.000 tons of metal 2018

what the hell did you do this winter?

This is mainly a wish list, put also part "likely add" list - that is, why each band might have been asked and/or might have accepted and/or why they would add major awesomeness to an already majorly awesome, epic line-up. :P
In order by most likely to least likely to be added....

    1. MOTORHEAD: because they are cool, old-school, crowd favorites plus Lemmy and the boys seem like they're always up for a rip-roarin', ass-kickin' good time (plus DragoLordJones has been prayin' for this big time - and I think it's workin'! )

    2. MORBID ANGEL: because the cruise needs more death metal, they are SO important to the history of death metal, AND they are from Florida which would make them and my next pick the perfect last 2 announcements.

    3. KAMELOT: because of the Epica (S.S.) connection - I would bet Epica and Kamelot were booked as a sort of natural package deal, plus....they have a new album to promote, they are a crowd favorite (certainly at Wacken 2010), and they are (mostly) from Florida. Last but not least, Kamelot doing The Haunting featuring Simone would be amazing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWDALIOzXNk

    4. IMMORTAL: because the cruise needs more black metal (especially of the Norwegian variety :beerhorns: ), they just had a successful run of five summer festival gigs and the cruise strikes me as the kind of gig they might dig, kvlt appeal, overall awesomeness

    5. SCORPIONS &
    6. MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP because with Uli Jon Roth already on board, they're a natural "package deal", both their separate and potentially combined performances would be LEGENDARY, and last but not least, their announcement would convince older, more "monied" rockers/metalheads to spend the extra buckaroos on the expensive cabins that are left.

    7. SATYRICON &
    8. 1349 because the cruise needs more black metal (especially of the Norwegian persuasion), Satyr and Frost are very personable guys who I think would dig this kinda thing, plus Frost is the drummer for both bands - great package deal.

    9. OPETH: because the cruise needs more death metal, Akerfeldt is a legendary, well-respected 20 year metal veteran, major fan base, headliner status, perhaps would like to extend his vacation in the Caribbean with wife and kids  (plus Opeth is my favorite band, hands-down ;) )

    10. DIMMU BORGIR: because the cruise needs more black metal, they've got a new album to promote, the idea of a cruise and perhaps an extended trip in the Caribbean after an extensive European & U.S. tour may have sounded appealing to Shagrath & co. when asked to do the cruise, Shagrath & Silenoz rule :beerwink:

    Honorable mention:
TURISAS: because these folk/viking/pagan metal folk seem to travel in packs :P and Turisas is the perfect band to complete the cruise pack imo! (think about all those heathen and pagan fests many of us have been to); big fan base (certainly on this forum!), incredible live performers.

    2. Motorhead... Seen them in Wacken a couple of times and met there drummer on the same boat home to Sweden 2 times after WoA, never met Lemmy but that would be hilarious.

    7. Volbeat... They are just great seems like cool blokes to start a drinking game with.
    8. Behemoth/Vader ... Because I need something brutal, and they are fucking cool to see live always helloads of action
    9. Flogging molly or Dropkick Murphys... always good drinking music
    10. Gorgoroth..... this could actually be scary to see how Ghaal would behave on a cruise.

    Volbeat are cool.
Behemoth has canceled everything due to illness.
Ghaal has not been in Gorgoroth for years. Besides, he would never subject himself to fans like that, he's too much of a pretentious cock.

Cannibal Corpse turned the opportunity down (I would have loved them!!!!)

    1. King Diamond -- My favorite all time bad ass

    2. Morbid Angel -- The godfathers themselves

    3. Nasty Savage -- Would be a great reunion with a Florida flare

    4. Y&T -- Yes, Deborah1 is so right. These guys are a bunch of fun. I have always dug their music. Saw them on the In Rock We Trust and Contagious tours. They do kick ass.

    5. Armored Saint -- These guys have kicked ass for years!!!!!!!!!

    6. WASP -- Have seen them 5 times. Blackie Lawless is so underatted. Recent albums are fantastic!!!

    7. Watain -- Wow!!!!!! These guys are a good band thats music gets overshadowed by its outrageousness.

    8. Slayer -- Come on, they are still the standard in thrash.

    9. Venom -- Just for old school sake

    10. Lillian Axe -- a Super fun band with an excellent guitarist
