LOVE THEM, but they suck something awful live. Would rather just listen to the studio stuff than see Byron stand up there in his cloak, looking like Fred Durst, and not being able to scream.

^Yes. I've seen Bal-Sagoth twice in two years and both times they weren't good. The cloak is one thing, but what the fuck is up with that stupid-ass laughing Byron does every 20 seconds of so? Idiot, that's what he must be.

I'd love to see Within Temptation on broad( ) as they are a killer live band. Seen them a few times over the years and haven't seen a mediocre show yet. Knowing that Sharon is pregnant, again, them being on the cruise isn't going to happen.

Yeah, I do think the live videos i've seen are a little lacking....However this is a cruise and Bal Sagoth of all bands possible is worthy of such so perhaps Byron would step it up. At any event if we want the best live show possible then where is the corpse?

I'd love to go, but I doubt I'd be able to make it happen in 2011 after the cruise and other planned 2011 vacations I just won't have the time/money, unfortunately. It would be nice since Christofer Johnsson basically stated that the only Therion shows in the US from here on out will be special one offs like at Progpower and they will not do any proper tours.

I'm satisfied with the lineup 10 bands ago (or whenever BG was added) but I'd most like to see Turisas or Edguy. They aren't my favorite bands, but in the context of a cruise they'd both be special and go out of their way to interact with fans. I agree with Therion as well, but I can't see it happening for a few reasons, I believe CJ said he always wanted to have their full stage set-up from now on.

As I mentioned, I'm already happy with who we have...in all seriousness, I would love to see a set by the masters of progressive rock, COMPLETE
3 Inches of Blood, Amon Amarth, Andrew WK, Be'lakor, Blind Guardian, Ne Obliviscaris, Nightwish, Unleash the Archers, Wuthering Heights

    The Final Band -- #40

    by Val » Fri Dec 24, 2010 10:52 pm

It'd be so cool if Overkill or Circle II Circle jumped onto this thing... Those are two of my favorite bands, and either one would be way cool.

Who would the rest of you like to see on the cruise?

    :viking: FOUR MORE WEEKS!!! :viking:
All the *great* comedians are dead... George Carlin - dead, Rodney Dangerfield - dead, Greg Giraldo - dead.... Lisa Lampanelli............................. still alive.

Disaster Area: a plutonium rock band from the Gagrakacka Mind Zones, are generally held to be not only the loudest rock band in the history of the Galaxy, but the loudest noise of any kind at all.
