I just need to keep her distracted by windmills of hair!

Fortunately there is also no street meat onbroad.

I'll help. I'm making MDF this year come hell or high water -- that's the plan, anyway! The line up is absolutely amazing and I just can't miss another year!

Well, the whole damn lineup looks pretty good to me!!!!!![]()

I've never had the opportunity to watch them and they've been consistently spinning on my playlists since the late 90s. Will be most amazing. No problem paying for all of it either since I'll get my tax returns after 70k!

Not sure what the debate is, based on the lineup, seems like a no brainer. The event itself isn't held in the "prettiest" of areas, but it's not an issue at all. Hotel across the street and downtown Baltimore just a short drive away makes it easy. You don't even have to rent a car either (at least I don't).
And this year was my first time as well

Hah, well there's no debate that the event will be great. At the risk of sounding like an emo bitch, my concern is peoples to enjoy it with! I have a hard time going to shows by myself, and ever since I've moved to Chicago it's been tough - Laura is pracitcally the only person I've met! I'm sure an event as such can and will bring other forumites out there, but I'm not very close with anyone, as I don't post regularly and whatnot... /emo
If i were to go, I'd probably drive it. Wouldn't be that bad methinks.

WizardBeast wrote:there will be several 70K forumites there, you'll have plenty of people to hang with at the show.

Let's see, we went out for burgers and some beers last summer when I met you via this forum, and then I saw you at at least four Chicago gigs since then (and four AMAZING ones I might add!): Dimmu Borgir/Enslaved (so fun to meet Grutle at the Exit afterwards!), Triptykon/1349, Amon Amarth and AGALLOCH!!! Great times.

Matthew - really? I'm surprised - you're a really nice, smart and fun person to be around! You know what... I think I'm gonna make the decision to say I'll go.
Now who wants to make some plans! lol..

I didn't know ANYONE that wasn't on the cruise. We had like a group of about 10 that I knew from the forum/cruise and had a blast.
Just don't be anti social on the cruise and you'll know plenty of us cool kids that like it "heavy & brutal" to enjoy MDF with![]()

Aye, we met at the first leg of the Amon Amarth show earlier this year.
It's not that I'm antisocial... I just suck at being social in general! But with a little help from my friend Dack Janiel's, I get better.
I'll simply keep my eyes open for goings on from here on out. That'll learn me.
