Just a thread for anyone with a business, a band, a charity or whatever... any project ya might wanna pimp out for whatever reason.

I'm starting it with (and because of) my sister in-law's new t-shirt business. She does simple graphic design stuff in her spare time and silk screens them onto t-shirts and has just launched her website in support of this. I saw one design in particular that I thought some ppl here might like and figured I'd just post about the whole site and let people check it out as they like.

The business is called Sporting Chance Designs. It's a pretty basic template sort of site so basically you can just check out the various designs using the catalog links at the top. The Bad Teddy stuff is being pretty well received and it was the You're On Ignore one with the headphones that made me think of you all

You know the wise ass in me wanted this to be god awful just for the jokes, but it's surprisingly listenable (if you enjoy the genre). Their name is uber generic to the Nth degree though, should consider changing it. But what do you expect from a bunch of "Moose Lovers" :lol:

And what are you doing hanging with a dude who likes it brutal ???

Well the band is sorta kaput, since the founder/producer/frontman moved to Wisconsin, so there won't be a name change. But they're sitting on a pile of unsold CDs and merch, if anyone is interested :mrgreen:

Maybe I can get them to change the band name to Moose Lovers :lol:

Thanks! I actually like people pics better but end up doing landscapes way more often. Though....I've grown to like landscapes a lot more this year, and especially if combined with people in them. Photography as a job would be awesome........

That's why I figured a few pieces of jewelry wouldn't take up too much space.

Erik - I agree about what you said - that pic was a last minute decision before I went straight from work at 5:00 pm to House of Blues to see Dimmu last November - it seems most of the HoB shows are all-ages and therefore start REALLY early and end early :roll:

so no time to go home and change.

I've gotten some humorous looks and comments from the security guards (some I've known for many years) who see me walking in looking one way :ugeek:

and walking out looking another. :beerhorns:

I've got a lot of fun photo shoot ideas involving metal & libraries (and me

) Whether or not I'll ever be able to pull them off where I work is another matter. :beerwink:
