I'm also of the opinion that I don't have a discernible accent, but Canadians, especially from Calgary, ALWAYS peg me as Texan after like one sentence.

Dan: something stupid
Canadian: Hey, you're from Texas! eh

I've got another question for anyone with the know-how. Upon clearing out my old home in Weston, I got ahold of my old TV. It still works, but one of the HD cable receptors isn't working, which is a problem for my PS3. I heard that I can use the 3 TV receptors instead (red, yellow and white), but all I know is that the green plug goes into the yellow receptor. Do any of you PS3 owners know which ones go in the red and white receptors?

I don't have a PS3 but it's pretty standard that yellow is video and red n' white are right and left audio. I'd just go green to yellow as you said and then whatever the other colours are, just do what makes the most sense and if the audio seems backwards, just reverse those 2.

I think you may be onto something. Instead of bothering to move my PS3 into my room, I was just testing in on the TV ports in my living room. However, after what you said, I noticed that the TV ports I was testing had two Video receptors and one audio (according to how they were labeled), whereas the TV in my room had two audio receptors and one video. Was I mistaken in believing that the AV2 section was just another word for the TV section on the back of the living room TV?
Anyway, I'm going to test it on my TV directly instead of using the one in the living room as a substitute. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks.

Finished Resistance 3 yesterday. Good game, lots of fun, but I made the mistake of renting from redbox, so I felt pressured to try to finish it really quickly, which lessened my enjoyment. Also, Casual seems WAY harder than Normal, which is really weird.

I was planning on renting Uncharted 3 next, but the pressure of $2/day may have me try a different method.

That's not too bad. When I can't play, it's because my roommate is watching crappy reality TV. Honestly, it breaks my heart that MTV still has viewers.

The first Sam I loved, 2nd one was cool....Painkiller was the one that blew my mind. That game was a blast and really cool art and vibe wise.

Welcome to the Escapist, where everyone loves Serious Sam, and where everyone thinks they're the only one who loves it.

Was dorking around with Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare yesterday, and finally found the Chupacabra and Unicorn. The Unicorn cracked me up, since it has butterflies around it and leaves a rainbow trail as it runs.
Never take anything I say seriously.

Am I Evil? I am Dan. Yes, I am!

Do NOT buy a record based on my recommendation.

For the past week or so, I've been playing the game Megamari on my PC. It's a Touhou game that shamelessly imitates Megaman. However, I haven't been able to get past the first level of the Patchouli (Wily) castle. Like all Touhou games, it has a challenge level for seriously hardcore gamers, despite its cute lolita aesthetics. Rab, Mooyagi, if you can stomach the aesthetics, I think you should give it a try. Completing this would definitely be something to brag about.

Fun Fact: EvilDan and I briefly worked "together" at Electronic Arts Tiburon a few years back. We noticed each other because I'd wear metal shirts to the studio and so did he. I think I first saw him with an "The Absence" shirt on. Of course, an intense love affair began soon after (of the non-gay variety :). :D

As soon as we started hanging out, the asshole moved back to Texas. Jerk off!

No live tag unluckily. I'm a PC gamer :death:

Right now, I'm playing Rage and Amnesia: The dark descent (Rage when I'm in the mood for carnage, Amnesia when I'm in the mood for pissing my pants)

And, of course, some Counter Strike 1.6 Online!!!! 'Cause, let's face it, it's the best game EVAH (Along with some RAINBOW 6 V2 online. Fag name, but seriously awesome)
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy it on a daily basis

Fuck that game. I still haven't finished it. I refuse to play it during the day because it takes away from the atmosphere and I refuse to play it in the dark because I am, in fact, a big pussy.
