Thinkin' about going to a game this year while in Miami.
Have not picked the day yet because I want the NBA problems to be totally over before buying my ticket.
It's set. The players and owners have ratified the new CBA. Now there's this whole fiasco with the league blocking a trade that would've sent Chris Paul to the Lakers (a really, really idiotic maneuver by the league but as a Celtics fan a part of me is smiling at that one!). Great way to improve your public image after a lockout.
I think it will go thru in another form, I honestly thought Houston got pwned in it, and the hornets got older, i am sure if the lakers give up another pick or take on some salary for the other teams then it will get accepted.

The trade was blocked by the NBA, who owns the Hornets at this point, because of pressure from small market owners. They rose a big stink about competitive balance and not wanting superstars to just decide to go to big markets. It was horseshit. Dan Gilbert, who owns the Cavs is being a whiny little bitch ever since LeBron left.
