NHL on hold right now.. It's the World Junior Tournament-- being in held in Edmonton and Calgary ,Canada.

Great tourney-- rinks will be packed. My work has some tickets for us to go to games,,,, but I'll be always working.

At least people ( Amurricans) won't be bitching and whining about Canadians travelling and drinking and eating and putting YOUR hosted event on the map!!

One day maybe team Australia will make the cut LOL, or maybe not. This is the first year out of the last 3 that Ryan Ellis (Pred's prospect) won't be playing for Team Canada. I do see our top 2011 draft pick, Austin Watson, in the lineup for Team USA however. Hope to catch some of the games.

It's interesting that the Stars have been featured on "national" (Versus) broadcasts lately. However, they traditionally play a lot of home games from the 20th - 2nd.

I'm just hoping people are noticing the disparity in how refs call the games. I mean, the Stars got called for Unsportsmanlike Conduct for skating in on a puck and spraying the goalie as Fiddler skated by. Never got into the paint, never touched the goalie, meanwhile one of the flyers skated in behind him and unexpectedly cross-checked in the back with no call. Fuck You NHL! :evil:
