VOICES FROM BEYOND - Euro Thrash from Italy, lots of different things going on here. It's pretty cool at times. Don't hear about too many thrash bands from Italy usually. Might be worth further investigation.

From Dallas, Heavy as hell dark prog, some really cool riffs and different vocal styles going on. Definitely not cookie cutter! Some Crazy shit going on at times, but yet it's addictive.

ELVENSTORM - french female fronted power metal, like Crystal Viper. Musically in the vein of Wolf and Stormwarrior.

Cool! Glad you dig them, they defiantly have a cool musical sound for sure.

Well if the bass player perks your interest! then here his old band...Atheretic...they are on hold I guess. But they are more brutal death than Beyond Creation is! But his unique bass sound is very apparent!

Here is a playlist for them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unHLbUy5 ... -ukpmZBrKk

Here is another of his older bands

Augury - Becoming God
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r97e1ooniyI

I thought Beyond Creation was the best and since they were still active, I posted them, but the other bands and albums also have much death metal of interest.

No clue why the bassist isn't bigger in metal circles or hasn't been stolen by a big act.

Torture Division

From their Band page :

We are Torture Division. We are an army of three. We are the world’s best death metal band, simply put. Lord K Philipson and Tobben Gustafsson decided that not starting a band together with Jörgen Sandström would be stupid. Upon being asked, Jörgen accepted the invitation and the band was born in the end of 2007. With over 60 years (and counting) of combined death metal experience you understand that we know what we do, we love what we do and that we will keep on doing it until the end of days. Or at least for as many years as we find the inspiration for it. Which quite possibly might be when the end of days arrive. So, in short… Torture Division is the world’s best death metal. And we have the merch saying so too. It might be sold out though.

They played a very tight set at Eindhoven metal Meeting, i recorded a piece of my set with them:

I recently discovered Incarnia

... melodic death metal, an awesome band from Quebec.. some talented kids who apparently gave up this project to go to school :? i understand it partially, but hell i don't think they should give it up completely. They released a new album which was available for free download on their facebook page.

For fans of Insomnium/ Dark Tranquility i guess. When i first heard them on youtube i thought they were scandinavian.

some good tracks:

Exmortus = Cali, Technical Melodic Thrashy Death Metal. Some super cool riffs. Guitar lovers death metal, not as pompous sounding as others technical bands of this style, good time band for sure.

Although they've been around for nine years or so, I'm just now getting my taste of Thulcandra. Though I see they only have two albums starting in 2010, maybe that's why. The similarities to Dissection are so close it's kind of creepy. From the music to the suicide of an original member. Really glad this band survived the death in the band though. Can't say I've heard a better black metal band in the past five years.

Really surprised me. Worth checking out if you're into Dissection or well written black metal.

Hell, even the artwork looks very Dissection.

Ginger Trees

A Swedish band with a 70s sound, but never forced or outdated. They remind me of a lot of bands without copying them: Lots of Cream, Moody Blues and Mountain, a bit of Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple and Golden Earring, and maybe something more recent like Riverside, Porcupine Tree or Vast in there as well. Great stuff to listen to.

Merging Flare - Pretty much a Finnish Gamma Ray, not as heavy as Demonlord but total Gamma Ray worship going on. Singer even sounds like Kai.

ValSans - True metal from Austria, super catchy sing along choruses. Manowar influenced for sure.

Satanica - Japanese "satanic" speed metal with Judas Priest influences. For fans of Satan's Host, Hell Hound, Metalucifer and Priest for sure.

Satan's Host caught me offguard. I wanted to listen to them from the blabbermouth article to laugh at shitty death metal. Listened to a few songs from that album on youtube and I am now tasting the dogshit from the bottom of my shoe.
