Cheering for Vancouver is something I don't typically do, but they better kick the shit out of Boston this weekend

5-2 Czechs, eh? How was the game?? (Like I need to ask, but I want to know, anyway, haha!)![]()
Oh it was awesome! Killer seats, good time and some GREAT hockey! I love the Juniors the best for Hockey, so much more intense and the games are always so exciting to watch. Young guys that account for good eye candy trying to make a name and reputation for themselves and throwing what nationalistic pride can inspire in there too certainly doesn't hurt. Really glad I was able to hit up two of the games this year, I've been to hundreds of hockey games before but never a Juniors game and it was high on my bucket list![]()
Watching the Sweden vs Russia game right now.
GO SWEDEN!! KILL THOSE BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That could be fun! Hasn't been much buzz up here yet. Guess it means more to you folks. We already won the war
Don't think Vancouver fans would be wise to try and rub it in our faces. We do have the cup still. Regular season game means very little in comparison.

Yet, this year, I hope they get fuckin' destroyed, in any possible way. I love their team as much as last year. I hate their fans. And mooyagi's just the tip of the iceberg. Boston fans are so arrogant they just deserve to lose. As much as I like how they play, as much as I like Thomas and his epic goaltending, their fans are just... (put random negative word). I recognize the team's talents. I can't stand arrogance.
Go, huh, Nashville, go!

ShoreSlayer wrote:lol... no, no trash talk. Can't earn that until I see you guys bow out of playoffs before us and even then it won't be much unless it's at our hands
Nah I just figured since you guys took it on our ice, this is the Boston faithful's first chance to cheer for the Bruins while the guys ya took it from are on your home ice. And yes, of course, I'm hoping they taunt chant Lou and he stone's 'em to show he's still got some pride n' skill but who knows. Both teams are pretty hot right now so I expect a great tilt![]()
Personally, I think 9-0 over some bottom feeders ain't quite as impressive as 2-0 over a contender but hey, a shutout's a shutout

scyll wrote:Moo: True Habs fans cheer for their team. The "Ole Ole Ole" is taken from soccer crowds, and are aimed towards the home team; it's an encouragement song. Of course some fans are asses, but it's a case for most passionate teams. BUT!! () Everytime I see a Bruins fans talk, it's just to discredit another team. I haaaaate that, cheer for your team, stop being pricks! And I'm not talking about you, you're a soft-hearted fan, truly, most are worst!!
Keep in mind, the Habs have dominated the rivalry over time. There's a lot of bitterness down here.

Wait, you expected them to not get their asses kicked like that last night? Ok, Injury ridden, end of a 7 game road trip (or was it 9?) which spanned from Vancouver to Florida to Boston and 2 of those games were completely thrown by the refs, mostly against division leaders it seemed like, and against a team who has won 23 of the last 25 games. I'm not even mad at them for losing last night. Doesn't matter if you lose 9-0 or 3-1, its all worth the same amount of points. We'll beat Minnesota tomorrow, don't worry.

Nucks announcers said they started Schneider because he's from the Bahstan area.

Yeah that's a convenient little excuse. He's from Marblehead I believe. Definitely it was because Luongo's a very sensitive man and he would fall apart with the hostile crowd![]()
Very chippy game so far! It's a fun one.

Nucks announcers also said Thornton's a criminal and should be in jail.
True story.

Yeah, but Jack Edwards is a fahkin lunatic, dude, even Brick just slowly backs away from half of Jackie boy's comments.![]()

Wouldn't be surprised if Lucic misses the next game for leaving the bench in the early scrum. Though perhaps Shanny thinks the game misconduct he got sufficed. Dumbasses. If they stayed out of the box all game maybe we have a different result.
