I'm quite fond of Bomb-ass, because back in the Detroit area in the late '70's /early '80's, we metalheads used to call anything cool "bomb". Not "The Bomb", just plain "Bomb".

As in "that riff is fucking bomb, dude".

Bomb-ass is bomb x infinity + 1., which is perfet for these days of black/death/what-have-you metal awesomeness.

"That riff is fucking Bomb-ass, dude".

I even worked Bomb-ass into my "Introduce yourself" questionnaire answers under "profession".

I can remember when bomb was used as a compliment as in, “she’s the bomb” and “Tits” as in, “That’s just the Tits” or “TITS”=score,win,nice, etc. but never the two words together.

What first got you into metal?
Couple of my Uncles were into Black Sabbath & Alice Cooper which got me inspired with Metal. I listened to Donnington 95 On the Radio and I was just completey hooked and got this dude to do me tapes of Slayer, Metallica & Megadeth. It goes from there on really and never looked back. I remember buying Anthrax Fistful Of Metal & Napalm Death Harmony Corruption as my first CDS! :bangers:

moving from japan to Virginia and discovering MTV, you know when it actually played music videos. saw faith no more's video for falling to pieces and I was sold. of couse my taste in metal got heavier over the years but that's how it all started.
