i just got curious here about my vocal range (more like a lack thereof). anyway i know i have a deeper female voice, so contralto is the lowest female range, so i started researching it. the range for this is typically the F below middle C to the 2nd G above C. well, i can barely hit that note, more like high E only, but i'm fairly comfortable singing a C below middle C, a full 5 notes lower than the range cited on wikipedia. i didn't realized my voice is that much deeper than contralto. i always thought i was more of a tenor and their range is from C3 to C5 which is just about perfect for me.

what the hell. i guess i really am a beast with my deep beastly voice. female tenor here...and NO i never had an addadicktomy operation!
