You can try linking your avatar from an outside hosting site instead of uploading it to your profile. Some of our more tech savvy forumites can probably get a good resolution image you want to the proper size for ya too.

Getting better...I probably won't even be able to catch every set. 50/74 (2 thirds) is the point where your guaranteed to not be able to see every set, assuming there is no overlap in the running order other than 2 band - 1 band - 2 bands - 1 band, but there is going to be overlap, so I'll have to make some choices.

I'm looking at 7 guaranteed 'both shows', 8 'at least one if not both' shows, and 9 'try and catch one' shows.

That gives me a baseline of 22 shows at a bare minimum.

Last year I saw 23 full shows, and bits and pieces of another five, and felt that I was run ragged and had little time for anything else.

So I'm pretty happy all things considered :)

Im curious but I wont go and find out! There were very few people on the forums that seemed happy with the announcement so it makes me wonder. I know we dont make up the entire cruisers but it should hold weight still.

This Edguy announcement makes stuff harder, they likely go into my non-negotiables but -- like last year when I saw 24 (or 27, I still don't remember) FULL sets -- I'm running out of time to do anything else.

And I think one of the last three will be a wishlist band for me (either Symphony X, Wintersun, Turisas, Powerwolf, Primordial) I know that gives me zero time and sacrifices will have to be made.

It's basically -- I'm either seeing two sets or zero sets -- there are very few bands I only want to check out once (if I like 'em once, I'll go see 'em a second time).

i really was into them for their 1st 3 albums, so i am inclined to check them out for a bit to see if they do some older stuffs! i'm not anti them, there are far worse bands for me onbroad, but they're not a priority for me either. it's because they're so "in the middle" for me that i keep forgetting about them, neither love nor hate!
