But thanks anyway, I'm not worried or anything. We've been negotiating without any real progress for over a year now, so this was just something I had to do to move on. I was hoping for them to come to their senses after being sued, but apparently not. Well, at least this whole thing will be sorted out...soon.

Ok, the preliminary hearing was on Friday. I think things are looking better now as the douchebags finally made an offer. I think they're starting to realize that his thing isn't just going away. The offer was too little too late, well, not entirely, but we're still tens of thousands away from what I'd think is fair.
We'll have a follow-up hearing in two weeks and they've promised to come up with a new offer for that. I'm not holding my breath though. I'm fairly sure we'll go to court. To me the ruling in my favor would mean more than any amount of money, as it would clean my reputation and show people what really happened. Of course, a big enough pile of money would help.
The court date is 14th of March, so, again, this will be sorted out...soon.
