Eluveitie/Revocation was missed cause the show was sold out (so, apparently CoB is now more popular than Testament? bah humbug)... this is the first time in my 24 years of goin' to shows that this has happened to me.

so my next show is Acrassicauda, which will be my 1st since the cruise

Just went to that show Drink.

I think it's more "Eluveitie is bigger than you may realize" than it being Bodom being so huge. Bodom playing a REALLY GOOD SET is probably drawing a bit more too. 4 songs off Follow the Reaper, 2 off Something Wild and 2-3 off Hatebreeder is nothing to laugh at. Very nice.

Next gig is Lamb of God/The Black Dahlia Murder/Unearth on Wed. 7th March. Plus my Brother's band Cripple Mr Onion is playing support. Don't listen to any of those bands (other than my Bro's band, of course) but I'm going anyway, to support the metal scene.. because that's what I do.

Well, before the show I really had my doubts about how some of the new songs would sound like during a live show, but they've blown the audience away.
It really was one of the best shows I've ever seen (and I've seen a LOT).

Next up will probably be Paganfest!

just saw Acrassicauda for the 2nd time... those guys are great and I love how they so happy and feel so privileged to play... I hope they have increased success!

next Monday I'm goin' to see Goatwhore (sadly, The Faceless dropped off the show)

I think you should. I saw them on tour with Thunderstone years ago, two of the best power metal bands in the world in my opinion.

Last gig for me was Refusal, Bloodride and Herem at Club PRKL a week ago. And the next one will be Swallow the Sun at Nosturi on Friday. Should be fun.
