they are definitely shady. I havent heard anything substantial yet, just a lot of rumors thrown around, and none of them are very consistent or believable. I'm having a hard time believing that he was murdered, but I'm having an equally hard time believing that he commit suicide. No one really knows whats going on and it sounds like the police aren't interested in investigating.

The second preliminary hearing for the trial was today. Nothing new, the court date is still set for next week. I was partly hoping the team douche would come to their senses and make an offer I could accept, but apparently not. Well, a week to go, so I'm getting my closure soon. Yes, soon.

Thanks, Kate and Bill. I'm not too worried about this, and, like I said, at the very least that chapter of my life will be over soon. Obviously, in the worst possible outcome, I could end up paying something like 10-20,000 euros, but I'm quite confident on winning and that would mean tens of thousands of euros to me, minimum. There is a chance that they wouldn't be able to pay that, so I might have to take over the company - something I've thought about a lot recently. It might not be exactly what I want, but on the other hand, the job as a CEO and running a business is tempting. Hard work, but extremely satisfying at best.
Going to court and having a ruling in my favor would mean more to me than money as it would clean my reputation and show people what really happened. I know I haven't done anything wrong and have nothing to hide.

We started a business together with the three of us back in February 2009. After getting it running properly and making profit apparently the two douches thought they could run it by themselves. I still own 1/3 of the company and am suing them for firing me (I worked as the CEO for the whole time). We had a signed agreement where every shareholder was guaranteed a place in the broad of directors and a job at the company.
Now they claim that they have evidence of me stealing from the company and that is why they fired me, but obviously that's not true. We (or I) were stupid not to name proper sanctions on the agreement, but at that time this didn't seem possible.

Like I said before, it's not the money I want the most - of course that too, as much of the company's success is my doing - but to clean my reputation. And I think that is why we haven't got a deal yet: they a greedy and can only think of money and not see this from my perspective.

This is just crazy speculation, but is it possible a third party actually convinced those guys that you stole the money? Is there anyone else in the company who could be responsible for incriminating you? You know these guys better than I do, but it would suck to lose your trust in them due to meddling from someone lower down the ladder or from outside the company. Well, one is an imbecile and the other is an alcoholic, so anything could be true. But the drunk one I've known for over ten years and know he is a greedy bastard. Actually that's one of his best qualities. :lol:

No seriously, I knew what I was getting into, but, being maybe a bit naive, thought I could trust him after helping him with his divorce and his problems with his former business mate (I used to work for them). Apparently not.
This whole bullshit thing started after I received a call from our accountant that the drunk one had called them a couple of times completely wasted. I confronted him and a few days after he said we had some trust issues. No shit. He's really good with words so I think he managed to get the imbecile on his side.

But luckily we had that signed agreement, so now it's for the judge to decide who's right.
