No. Well, actually yes as we're driving through Austria on our way Metalcamp. I'm planning on taking a ferry to Tallinn on Friday night and drive to Lithuania during nighttime, on to Poland and Czech Republic on Saturday and through Austria on the next night (there'll be plenty of time to sleep too). Should arrive in Tolmin early on Sunday. 2200 km from Tallinn to Tolmin.
And then pretty much the same route back home, leaving on Saturday morning and hope to be back in Finland on Monday morning.

Btw you should stop in Vienna saturday night and meet up with the rest of us

Hmm, that might not be a bad idea after all, the pit stop in Vienna I mean. It's only a 450 km drive to Tolmin from Vienna, so totally doable in a day.
My Volvo's consumption is around 7 liters per 100 km, and if the prices are around 1,50 euros a liter, the drive from Vienna to Tolmin and back is about 100 euros plus road tolls (maybe 20 euros total?), so the round-trip is around 30 euros per person if there's four of us.

Memnoch wrote:Don't want to brag (well, yes I do), but just got an e-mail from Pension Rutar in Tolmin that they'd have a double room available for us.

I was gonna say Marlo - gnoffi won't go to France. you keep picking the wrong fests if you wanna see our Swedish hubby!
Sweden, Finland and Germany probably gets a bigger chance of me getting there

No, you haven't read it so well.
She only wants to know those in June -> Less
She didn't limit her question to metal festivals -> More
I'm not gonna list them all for you, but these are the festivals I'm going to in June:
Fortarock (Nijmegen, the Netherlands)
Metalfest (Loreley, Germany)
Hellfest (Clisson, France)
Graspop (Dessel, Belgium)
Dokk'Em Open Air (Dokkem, the Netherlands)
As you can see, June has five weekends this year![]()
And though just not in June but the last weekend of May, Rock Hard (Gelsenkirchen, Germany) is also very recommendable.

There's 14 weeks until I fly to Tuska though

That's because we are going to Finland for 11 days in May, a bit of detox for FredrikNo festivals involved though! But there will be lots of beer & bananas. And maybe some bacon too :)

Memnoch wrote:I think it was on the morning we were docked at Caymans. Because the lines off the boat were so long, we (me, Riikka, Laura and Fredrik) went to the buffet for a late breakfast. And of course we ordered some beers to go with the bacon.I had a banana and ate it while drinking beer. So it was decided that beer and bananas is the breakfast of the champions. Apeshit was related to the thing somehow, I think Fredrik said (or meant to say) something about me going apeshit for beer and bananas.
Doesn't sound that funny written, but believe me, we laughed our asses off.
