I should. But like with gnoffi, the vacation days are soooo limited. Maybe next year. Hell, maybe I'll make the bucket list trip of mine and drive from coast to coast. :beerwink:

Driving from coast to coast is highly recommended. Especially if you crash with forumites along the way.

YES !!! My mom was moved from ICU to Progressive Care Unit this morning. She looks better everyday and might be able to go get her tomorrow night and bring her home !

Thanks for the PM's, the thoughts, the words, the prayers, the donations.... You all rock. This has been a horrible past three days, a lot of beer, booze and metal to get me through .

I hope she continues to recover and makes it to her 90th Birthday on August 29.

Cheers,

Wonderful, those are two very beautiful areas of AZ.
(If you are into jewelry (Silver and turquois) buy it from the Navaho Nation.)
Someday I will visit Monument Valley.
I still want to hike down the Grand Canyon in the spring or late fall. (Bucket list item)

It should be awesome! I'm not too into jewelry except a ring or necklace once in a while, but I usually get silver stuff in my hometown, it's much cheaper :D.

I went once to the Grand Canyon, though I didn't hike down. It was way more amazing than I expected. You definitely should go!

To be honest, I'm allergic to cats. And worse yet, I'm highly allergic to unicorn hair.

But yeah, I have been wanting to do a tour in the US (and Canada) for a long time. The dream is to buy a muscle car and drive around the country for a half a year or so and then ship the car to Finland.

The park definitely makes it out to be very difficult. Difficult, not for novice hikers or children, bring gloves because you need to use steel cables to help you up the mountain, etc. Also, we gotta get it in before the temps reach eleventybillion degrees in the summer.
See you all on 70K 2014! :deathhorns:
