gnoff wrote:I've been offered a rental apartment!
Signing contract in one week!
will be 23 min walk / ca 8-10 min boke to work
(instead of now 1 hour by trams/buses + walk)
I'll get it from June 1
Downside: Need to figure out if I am to sublet my house (friend coming to look at it Saturday) for about a year before selling, or if to start trying to sell it now.
life is filled with decisions

Congratulations! I don't know how the market is in Sweden right now, but here prices are low. So I would suggest you to wait, if you are allowed to sublet your house :) That's something we've been thinking about too lately.

And we'd rather keep our apartment in Copenhagen and sublet it until we know for sure that we want to stay in the new place. But we are still in the thinking stage.MadameLePink wrote:WizardBeast wrote:

We don't know yet, it all depends on where we can get a decent job, but Helsinki is priority no. 1, Stockholm no. 2And we'd rather keep our apartment in Copenhagen and sublet it until we know for sure that we want to stay in the new place. But we are still in the thinking stage.

Actually I started because I like Finland and I hadn't learnt a new language for ages and needed a challenge. It's only recently that we started thinking of moving because Fredrik has quit his job and it would be nice to try something new. But then it's a good thing that I already know a bit :)
So if anyone wants to come and visit Copenhagen, you'd better hurry
I'll be there in september for Raubtier

If we haven't moved by then! But I will let you know, just don't book anything yetIf we move we'll probably try to get a job from the 1st of september or so.

i got a call from a potential employer this morning! They asked about availability and work status. The girl on the phone said the owner will contact me soon about a phone or skype interview, and we went over the work permit process so it sounds promising! I really needed that call too, ive been really panicking about this whole move
