Yes, the very same thing. It didn't actually taste like mämmi. Had kind of smokey taste to it. I liked it.
The Arctic Malt Pils wasn't too bad either, would've wanted more character to it.
And the ESB tasted more like an IPA. A strong hoppy taste, but luckily I like hoppy.

Monmisreal wrote:I actually thought of this beer the night of the Behemoth show because I ended up taking a shot of Ardbeg. Im not a big scotch drinker but apparently it is one of the most in your face, smokiest, peatiest scotches out there. I only tried it because of the name and how it looked Scandinavian![]()
Google shopping description- A whirlwind of peat and complex malty flavours, this is an exuberant, in-your-face whisky to be cherished.
That is NOTHING but the truth. Its like drinking campfire smoke

mooyagi wrote:Sounds good! I like really smokey beers.

There is a difference between smokey beers and that scotch![]()

If you want to see how Ardbeg tastes without spending 60 bucks go outside and make yourself a very very smokey campfire. Steal the smoke inside of a cup and suck that shit in with a straw

But taking a shot I hope translates into sipping slowly, else it would be true sacrilidge!
