Gotta hand it to Washington. They just wanted it more. Their defensive form was good and their goaltending was fantastic in the series. Bruins got a ton of shots but very few good chances. No fight in the B's this year. They didn't care. If only Bergeron put that chance away...

We got wicked cheap tickets. $66.00 to sit in the front row of the upper level. Bombass seats! I guess now that they're playing a team whose fans don't travel well means tickets are much easier to come by. Kinda worried about how many people will actually be there tomorrow.

Gonna be really tough for Phoenix to score goals. That said, Coyotes and young Smithy showed they can play quite solid and consistent D vs the Hawks. If they can shut down the Preds top gunners, we're gonna see a lot of 1-0 games and either team can win those with just a good bounce or one mistake by the opponent. Looking forward to this and the other series. Have fun at the game guys! :beerbang:

New York over Washington in 5 ( new yorks a better overall team imo)

YES!!!!! They won! Surprisingly both goalies had some pretty easy goals scored. It was really sad to see so many empty seats :cry:

Game was fun. Definitely wasn't surprised to see overtime but I was surprised to see it be a 4-3 final. So much for goalies' duel. :lol:

Nothing like seeing a home team goal in OT to clinch the win.

As I had feared, without as many visiting fans there were a lot of empty seats in the building. Way more than I was expecting. If people can't go to a second round playoff game on a Friday night then we really need to rethink this whole hockey in Phoenix thing. It was sad.

There were ppl here in Van that were happy we got matched up with them for round 1 but I wasn't one of them. They have a tonne of talent and had played great for their new coach and needed to do so for some time just to make the playoffs. Canucks played poorly in many areas in round 1 but don't doubt that it was L.A.'s play that made them look as awful as they did. I didn't suggest they're going to win it all just out of disappointment for our loss. They're the real deal and the rest of the remaining teams better be prepared to bring their best against them. I see no one playing well enough to beat them at the moment. That first period vs St Louis last night was just a showcase for dominance and determination. Fun to watch.

Kings are one of the most underrated teams in NHL. They have so much potential, all they needed was a coaching change. After the change they actually started playing hockey.

You sure? That sounds like my post from way back, when I predicted Vancouver to win the President's Trophy and lose in the first round. (And got chewed out by Rob for it. :lol:

Though I thought it would be Dallas in 8th.) I thought LA would get their shit together far earlier, being my pick to win the Cup, but it looks like they are rolling now.
