i had to cancel a few trip plans (Minnesota benefit show for a dear friend lost to Lymphoma, Maryland Deathfest, etc) due to this damn $6k sewer issue, but i know flights down there are pretty cheap so i hope to sneak one in at some point, some weekend....hheh....dare i say....soon.

Ah well, I admit to having a bit of a Peter Pan complex, so it's been a bitch at times for me mentally as I've gotten older. But I try not to dwell on it and simply be super grateful that I've lived life to the max and had so many experiences that surpassed what I ever imagined as a child. I've also had the good fortune of finding a career perfectly suited to me, and lastly, but most important, I've had so many positive people in my life who I love dearly. Hmmm.... so if look younger than the average 51 year old woman, maybe some of "the good life" syndrome plays a part somehow.
