i had to cancel a few trip plans (Minnesota benefit show for a dear friend lost to Lymphoma, Maryland Deathfest, etc) due to this damn $6k sewer issue, but i know flights down there are pretty cheap so i hope to sneak one in at some point, some weekend....hheh....dare i say....soon.

My best one, taken the last year when Grave Digger came to Switzerland. I'm 'working' for the Axel Ritt Swiss street team on Myspace (not for a while cause of inactivity there) and Facebook since 2009 and met him for the first time the last year :wank:

Me and my best friend Teri in high school - we were 16 here (junior year high school) - she was the *only* female friend I had in HS who was an genuinely into/obsessive about music as much as I was (Rush, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Scorpions, Pink Floyd, Queen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Journey, Queen, The Cars, UFO, REO Speedwagon, Styx, Van Halen, Ted Nugent, Genesis, Kansas, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Foghat, Foreigner, Supertramp and so on) - we hung out with a great group of about six guy friends

- absolutely the best female party buddy who I hung out with a ton, went to great gigs with and all that :whisky:

- and awesome lady to this day. I think I told Debb once on this forum that in some ways she (Debb) reminds me of this friend Teri.

gnoffi, they opened a new viking-themed restaurant in Helsinki this week, so we could go there during Tuska. They have plastic viking helmets, so you can get yourself a new avatar photo with triple helmets. It's not anything special on beer, as far as I remember they only had a few beers in their restaurant in Jyväskylä. The food is great though, a bit on the expensive end, but great.

i think all of my exercising is starting to be noticeable and i look better than i have in a while. my rack is still ridiculous. i'm going to look like a lunch lady with narrow hips and giant bazooms. i guess women pay to have something like these, so i shouldn't bitch, but they do get in the way and i can never buy the cute bras cuz they don't make 'em in 36DDD.

... haha, but it does weird me out every so often that I hang out a lot on this forum and many of you regulars are young enough to be my children. :shock:

I think Kay (tuup) told me on the boat that his mother is 53.

Ah well, I admit to having a bit of a Peter Pan complex, so it's been a bitch at times for me mentally as I've gotten older. But I try not to dwell on it and simply be super grateful that I've lived life to the max and had so many experiences that surpassed what I ever imagined as a child. I've also had the good fortune of finding a career perfectly suited to me, and lastly, but most important, I've had so many positive people in my life who I love dearly. Hmmm.... so if look younger than the average 51 year old woman, maybe some of "the good life" syndrome plays a part somehow.

my mom had me a little young, so she's only 53....haha. anyway age doesn't matter very much, all else considered. at least my mom likes all the same music we do too!
