Hey Stan! Didn't know you were coming to town for Marduk & 1349! :beerhorns:

I love both bands and would have been there had it not been my daughter's 8th graduation weekend. Ah well, we all had a lovely weekend of celebrating, plus I've seen Marduk 3x and 1349 2x - so not *too* much love lost there. :lol:

Hmmm.... my last gig was last weekend I guess - a few random local alt bands at the "Do Division" neighborhood street fest http://do-divisionstreetfest.com/fest/

Next: the first of five (what I'm referring to as our retro 70s/80s summer/early fall) gig series

Styx/Nugent/REO (2 weeks from tonight!! Yay!!) followed by B52s/Squeeze (July), Yes/Procol Harum (August), Peter Gabriel and Rush (both September). Besides those - several others upcoming this summer including Ministry, Agalloch, Death Cab for Cutie (@Taste of Chicago), My Morning Jacket, Dead Can Dance, and misc gigs at Millennium Park and various street and park fests. Love summer here!!! Wish it wasn't so short! :beerbang:
