Oliver Riedel of Rammstein - clip from the Pussy video.

We have very different tastes . I'm not at all into any of the Rammstein guys, especially in S&M getup. Kinda grosses me out, actually, despite me jokingly playing the creeper part.

And here I actually thought that Laura was a really nice straight lace, up-tight, conservative Chicagoan.
It must be all that pent up Librarian desires. She’s spending a little too much time in the books and video racks. LOL

^^^ *like* this post of yours Rhia.

And to one of your points (and to use a ridiculously overused saying) - never judge a book by its cover.

And yep, I would definitely consider myself a hedonist on many levels. I changed my location on my profile from Chicago to Cloud 9 a while back as a joke, but decided to keep it because I realized it's fairly descriptive of where I am (in my mind) the vast majority of the time...I am in a nearly constant state of being enthused and excited about so many people, places, and things that make me happy. I truly believe that one can actively *choose* to be joyous*, no matter what life deals you. :D

Sure! Why not?!! :heavydrink:
Since that idea popped in my head this morning, however, (prompted by a dream I had about Taake :beerhorns: ), I've expanded my vision of this erotic novel project considerably. First off, since I'm somewhat obsessed with the history, culture, and the places I've visited in Norway, I decided this series will
1. Always take place in Norway and/or related countries (during the Viking Age for example)
2. Span about 2,000 years - involving a main female character living in eight different historical eras including now.
3. The protagonist would be consistent - me  - albiet in different forms via reincarnation (although I don't believe in reincarnation, I love to imagine having had other lives in other parts of the world at other times in history.)
4. Involve interesting events related to the historical time period and endless.....

Bloody hell....if books like the Twilight series and Fifty Shades of Grey http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fifty_Shades_of_Grey sell MILLIONS of copies...surely I can sell...hmmm...I dunno - 50 copies??

It doesn't matter... Whatever I write, I write for me or a select few, so whatever.

Cool! I've realized more and more recently there are so many thoughts in my head that I need to (for lack of a better word) get out or release. I've always written a lot (almost always to and for myself, and the occasional select few)....I think I said on the careers/dreams/aspirations thread recently....that if I ever felt I created anything of any magnitude and/or significance and/or something that I think may interest others.....I might try to "pitch it" to a larger audience....part of me thinks that never will or should happen, though. I started brainstorming on the novel series yesterday - characters, time periods, relationships, events, and I'm definitely going to continue working on this because I know it will be very enjoyable. (ha - it already is!)...but I think the end result will most likely be too strange, personal, and revealing... better kept to myself. ;)

Don't mean to derail this favorite thread of mine....

^^^ ah yes - Hallelujah is great - Daniel Gildenlow of Pain of Salvation does a great version too.
(oh, and my hair is dyed, so not a real blond :P )

I've been a Buckley fan for a long time - and know I've posted him here before and on the Listening thread. The quality that draws me the most to any singer I really love is their ability to express a certain feeling, emotion, or range of emotions (or heart and soul or whatever you want to call it) - so much so, that I feel it very strongly as well....ranging from someone extreme like Høst of Taake to a Jeff Buckley. I think it is such a gift when a creative artist (of any kind) is able to do that....I'm somewhat envious of this in fact. Buckley is amazing to me in that regard. Like here (especially starting at 4:50) in a BBC performance of the song Grace. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjO4IenA ... ure=relmfu

Buckley was also one of the most photogenic musicians ever in my view. To me, most every picture really captures a deep, thoughtful spirit.

To me, Buckley was an uber talented, beautiful, soulful man...so all that adds up to really, REALLY sexy in my book - the best kind perhaps. Still can't believe he died so many years ago now and he was only 30. :(

I came across an article about German classical & "crossover" violinist David Garrett recently in a violin magazine at work, and have since been reading up more about him and watching his youtube videos.
I love seeing solo violin concerts (in particular Joshua Bell) - I'd definitely go to see this guy. :beerwink: He should hook up with the Apocalyptica guys as a special guest on a track and/or tour!

This guy has like a million pix on the internet - hard to pick!   Good god....

My favorite eye-candy band will probably be walking around in the sun shirtless with their hair flowing in the sea breeze ....ugh I was actually hoping that Turisas wouldn't get announced because then it would mean lots of whining and bitching from me until either the cruise is over or I stumble upon a pot of gold, whichever comes first.

The two of my favourite Turisas guys
2013: Cabin 7545
2014: Cabin 9554

Nice! Two (you & Rhia) "sold" pre-publication. :P I've got a good solid outline of the characters and when they lived so far - next is boning up more on past-life regression, certain places & time periods, and related nitty gritty. The devil is in the details. :ugeek:

Back to David Garrett, here he is doing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" with an orchestra in Berlin.
