I'm not that big on porters, but am open to try some. And I think Rhia would love to sample some Polish beers, so I'll see what I can get. :beerwink:

I just remembered that I have two bottles of Estonian mead, Saku Mõdu (the normal "iidne meeõlu" or "ancient honey beer", and the Christmas version, Jõulpruul). Both are about 4 ABV, so not your strongest meads. But yeah, if you haven't tasted those, I'll save them for Tuska. :beerwink:

How about some 100% agave tequila. Preference is light. No F'n blends.
I have to watch how much of that I drink for I go into laughing fits. Me, muy loco, Si’.

I only drank tequila while in Mexico on a fishing vacation in Cabo San Lucas. Two margaritas from the Hotel California while in La Paz. One before I left to return to Cabo and one during the ride back and MAN! Did I ever go into a laughing fit. It lasted all F'n night. I thought the federallies would have arrested me and I still had the Cabo Wabo going on since I went fishing in the morning.

Well, if I make the cruise part 3. You can buy a couple of margaritas made with 100% agave with fresh squeezed limes, a little salt on the rim and splashed with Guaycura Licor de Damiana (Love the bottle) and then watch the festivities begin. LOL  :heavydrink:

Does Casta brewery still produce beers at all?

Hm..... I have no idea. Looking forward to some Indios :D, there even hard to find in Mexico because they're regional. Bohemia I like, too but can buy in Tucson. Had a Victoria Saturday, not too bad

i didn't like hoppy beers at all when i really got into craft beers 7 or 8 years ago. i do now, but i am still pretty picky about them and they need a good malt body/backbone for me to really enjoy. i am far from a hop-head but i do like some and it did take time for my palate to adjust.

Careful packing is the way, I've done it plenty of times :)

It involves bubble wrap, tape and cardboard boxes

or if one is extra serious, styrofoam shippers :D
