Been using the colour filter thing a bit more with mixed results. These are from Sakura Days Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival at Van Dusen Gardens we went to last weekend and then Whytecliff Park in West Van where we were the other day...

Thnx guys. There's probably another 80 or so from just those two days. I'm pretty addicted to snapping anything I can in the hopes of developing more skill with my cam and a better eye for artistic shots. Need to take some lessons to get to the next level though I think. Lots of fun either way :headbanger:

See if there's a photo group meetup like the one Kate is in. They give all kinds of advice on picture taking and have technical sessions too during the meetings, as well as friendly critiques from time to time of others' pictures.

Yeah, I've had that on my ongoing Things-To-Do list for a while now but haven't gotten to it yet. Got a few good ones today that are closer to the results I set out to achieve from the start. I started experimenting with hand-stitching/embroidery yesterday. This was the first thing I made, a Gatekeeper patch for Jeff. I'm feeling pretty proud of myself

Dave recording drums for the next viathyn album.

6/9 tracks are done on drums, and it sounds incredible. Kicks and cymbals everywhere. Drumgasm.
