Krokus could be a possibility for this years lineup. They are calling it quits at the end of 2019 and have never played 70K. If they were ever going to be onbroad this is the last year for them to do so.
Kontrust would be rad. Also same from Kalmah. Except I shouldn't have gone to bed, I should have gone to PAIN...acidbasement wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 7:26 am Kontrust would make me (and my kids) really happy, but it's never gonna happen. Kalmah is my second choice because they had the worst mix in the Alhambra in 2017, and I decided to go to bed instead of suffering through it.
I would love for Krokus to be on board! We need more Dad Metal!Hoppy McGee wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 7:33 am Krokus could be a possibility for this years lineup. OMFG, Dad Metal! LOL, cracks me up every time I hear that term being used cause it's so true. All the kids I went to HS with (70s) still listen to Dad Metal. They can be heard saying things like, "They just don't make rock music like they used to".
That would make you and your kids happy? Does this means you're back in 2019? I though you were taking a year off.acidbasement wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 7:26 am Kontrust would make me (and my kids) really happy, but it's never gonna happen. Just the solitary request from you my friend!PotatoPotahto wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 12:04 pm I know I'm not the only guy hoping for Kissin' Dynamite.. lots of the Facebook comments are asking for them. Hey Statsman, got any stats about Kissin' Dynamite on the wishlists??
Would definitely help shift this dad from 'not this time - maybe next year' towards 'Time for round FOUR!'mbob wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 7:42 amI would love for Krokus to be on board! Damn I had Heart Attack and Alive and Screamin' on cassette back in the 80s!! That would be a wicked addition!ShoreSlayer wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 5:28 pmWould definitely help shift this dad from 'not this time - maybe next year' towards 'Time for round FOUR!'mbob wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 7:42 amI would love for Krokus to be on board! Kalmah was to 2017 what Enslaved was in 2018. I managed four songs for Enslaved although many folks began heading for the exits after two.acidbasement wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 7:26 am Kalmah is my second choice because they had the worst mix in the Alhambra in 2017, and I decided to go to bed instead of suffering through it.
Rather unlikely to get 2 Australian bands on the boat same year though. Especially as they are currently (I think) touring the US.praey wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 9:04 pm Kryptos would be great but I forgot about King Parrot, they'd be even better. Their music is good enough but from everything I've heard their live shows are nuts. Never seen them before either. Seems like they'd be a good fit for the boat too, not to mention giving us a genre (grindcore) we don't normally see much of.
Wooooooooow!!!! Thank you!!!! Thank you!!!! Thank you!!!! Thank you!!!!Andy wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 9:14 pm The Lords of the Swamp, KALMAH, will weave melodies onbroad Round 9 of 70000TONS OF METAL, The Original, The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise!
