Performancewise?
Their latest album is so good imho (minus Hello Darkness).
Performancewise?
I was expecting Vital Remains to be next, but if they ARE ruled out due to their drummer touring with Seven Spires (that's kinda weird), then yes, by all means let it be Valhalore.
I just didn’t fully expect Melodic Black Metal, as Metal Archives officially calls them now, but that’s what they are.
If we got Aether Realm I would have flipped out. I drove 5 hours to see them perform for Shadow Woods Metal Fest and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. But oh well, we can still hope
Checking out the Shadow Woods Metal Fest lineup led me to discover Goblin Hovel. So, thank you for that!JoAnnamayhem wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 6:53 amIf we got Aether Realm I would have flipped out. Allot of great lesser known bands on that lineup. Windfaerer, Ferus Din and Sickdeer also caught my attention! Glad to have shed a little light =)Gratch wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 10:25 amChecking out the Shadow Woods Metal Fest lineup led me to discover Goblin Hovel. Indeed! I fly out for the US in 17 days! I'd love for a change to know the entire lineup before I fly out :)
+2, Wake up Andy!!

Eternal Tears of Sorrow
Emperor
Entombed
Ex Deo
andddd im out of E bands
Ill be happy with EToS, but whenever I hear Unbesiegt I always feel im on a tropical island so I feel it would be fitting haha
Both good choices & not a repeat.
Couldn't agree more. A few bands that I've never heard of before but which I quite like.Hoppy McGee wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 8:10 am MOAR DAD METAL!!!
Vicious Rumors aren't a must see band for me by any stretch....but I will most likely check out a set if time permits. They spent 2018 touring the 30th anniversary of Digital Dictator so hopefully they'll be performing that album in it's entirety on the boat as well.
There are lots of bands on this lineup that I want to see but not very many that are "must see" for me. I'm really hoping for some kind of "shit my pants" type announcement between now and the day we set sail but I'm starting to lose hope.
Speaking of DAD METAL, here is my analysis of the current lineup :)
Hopefully the "real" one, looks like they're doing business under the ENTOMBED CLANDESTINE name now: https://www.facebook.com/entombedclandestine
Well then I hope you're happy
This came without the quotes at first (I was on the forum looking for a post I thought I saw about Epica being out). So I spent some time looking around at Greek bands, Behemoth availability (because God = Dog), and just straight up a band called Cerberus from Mexico. They're my prediction. The hint's way out of nowhere otherwise.Andy wrote: Out in the distance, we see something that looks a lot like "C"erberus...
Could just be the first batch of Cripper bands, as they tend to come in 3'sPhoenix wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 4:01 pmWell then I hope you're happy

Thrilled! Perfect add for the cruise. Always wondered why they hadn’t been on yet.Phoenix wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 4:01 pmWell then I hope you're happy

I think this is more likely. Cerberi have 3 heads, so it smells like Cripper time imo
What a weird way to put it, but I guess that makes a Skipper amount of sense. I think I just got excited about the possibility of Behemoth coming back.
