downright lame.
Common droughts are normal and must inevitably come. There are less bands to announce then there days to sailing. And don't forget the 6 or 9 bands that will be announced as a trio.
I think part of this is that he teases the next band with a letter, so we all want to see if we're right. But more importantly we all want to see what the next letter is so we can get amped up about guessing that one and listening to all the bands we like that start with that letter.
Haha. Yeah, I agree. I guess Andy takes some pleasure off teasing us.cholernik wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 10:03 am

Right. There will be no “onboard” onbroad.
Nope, she had it right.
Yes, or that! To be honest all my predictions have been running at about a 100% failure rate so far, so hopefully i've jinxed yet another one...?Danny24601 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 12:36 pm
Or we could get another announcement in five minutes! That's half the fun, that you never know. Gotta sit back and enjoy the ride. The lineup so far is very sweet, and I'm sure we'll get a few more 2-setters before the end.
Even I would be okay with that E.Cardest wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 4:28 pm Maybe the E band could be Exhorder!
They have a new album out.
Their website has no shows/tours listed, which is really odd.
So, maybe the reason is they are waiting for this announcement here before
it gets shoved up to their own web page or something.
I predict Monday morning we'll get the E we've been waiting for.
I would like EXHORDER too! Statsman and I agree on a band! The stars are aligned!cowboy71 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 4:34 pmEven I would be okay with that E.Cardest wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 4:28 pm Maybe the E band could be Exhorder!

Because their lead singer is also the lead singer of TROUBLE, and I would LOOOOOVE to have TROUBLE back!
That’s just UMC speak for: “expect nothing for two weeks”cowboy71 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 3:36 pm After a break like this it would be highly unlikely for the drought to break on a weekend.
People are out and about, media wouldn't be monitoring for announcements to share etc.
Hopefully the silence is due to them scrambling to get acts so big, so special, that they are enough to commit people to book even at this incredibly late stage.
70K posted on Facebook a little while ago " We've got some nice surprises up our sleeves for you... stay tuned!". I know they say that ALL the time, but I am hopeful that it is true for a change
The surprise is that we’re going sail with just 36 bands. I kinda like these so there’s no need for any more.
yeah, it sucks not knowing what bands are playing. but, one day closer to cruise time.

Are ya lookin' for Trouble, mister?
“Day after day, day after day,
The phrase that will forever be uttered whenever there is any gap in announcements.
And that is totally his fault for being unable to delegate.
