Kings Cup is much more fun when everyone is drinking a different type of drink. More often than not, it usually comes out really tasty

Sounds like a plan. Im making the transition to all grain now that I found a better guide for doing it with extract equipment. The two beers I know I have on deck soon will be an all grain version of the orange zest IPA I made in January and an attempt at a green tea IPA using all but 1 of the same ingredients from the Baird/Ishii/Stone Japanese Green Tea IPA.

Biggest worry is I may only fly with one bag (well, one extra bag cost 50 USD per one way, so not doing that), which limits the possibility to fly with bottles. I did bring 2 bottles last time, so somthing like that would be possible.

Then just the question where to meet up and try them :)

Yea I had no clue if customs would be a prick about it or what. If you stay in palm harbor before miami again def give me and my girl a heads up and well figure something out. I tried to stop by that laugerhaus you rode the bike to but I had a ride to the Finntroll/Ensiferum show that night and no way to get to and from there in time haha

Sweet and not bitter can generally be white/wit/wheat/weiss/weizen beers

There are also beers that are not bitter, but more acidic to sour, such as
lambic, gueuze, oud bruin, flandres red

Some fruit beers that are of spontaneous fermentation can go to the sweet candy side, though some are still sour, I'd check out kriek first

A lot of Belgian ales are to the sweet side, and not very bitter

Some barley wine are very sweet and not very bitter, but here you might start to know what brands to look for, since many BW, specially the US ones, tends to be very bitter

Depending on which porter you pick up you can go more to the sweet and chocolate side and not feel much bitterness

You said the magic word! Chocolate... Yum!!

Thanks for the advice I'll see what I can find... you may have just changed my opinion on beer.

or this one
Meantime Chocolate

Though the first one would probably suit you better since it's sweeter while the latter also has burnt notes to it

You can probably get it for 30 USD at the right sote, but only 12 bottles made it to Sweden, 6 of those were sold at auction and I scored one

I see them at all the liquor stores, but I don't know anyone that drinks them regularly, so I never had them before. Figured I would try them tonight. I've heard lukewarm reviews about Widmer's hefeweizen, so I went for summer ale.

Beer quests have not been going well in London. All they really sell is shit and anything else is ridiculously priced. From my internet searches I haven't been able to find anything that specialises in beer, only wineshops. I paid £4 for a large bottle of Hoegaarten in the supermarket which I think is extortionate. I tried a Spanish beer called Cusquena which wasn't too bad and more reasonably priced at £2. But I refuse to drink the rest of the shit.
