Please do not take me seriously. I work in healthcare but am not working right now. the narcs part was a joke. I only take them when I am sick or panicked and for that my dr gives me clonzepam (clonipin)

I think I'm just stuck in a rut. I know that I could be a LOT better, but I can't escape the feeling that I've plateaued.
My LP needs to have the intonation adjusted in a bad way, and every time I try to do it, it feels less natural to play.
I haven't been to a good show in a while, they usually spark the desire to play.
I need a fucking band, but all the local bands fucking suck. Really, really suck.

Kidding aside, I know what it's like to be in a creative rut AND to have gear issues. I've been cursed with guitars that always seem to have some kind of dead fret or buzz or won't stay in my tuning of choice. Paid lots of coin to guys with great reputations as being 'the best around' and they still F it up. Sometimes we just gotta make do with the gear we got and pull that inspiration outta the air. Good luck and, if it gets real bad, PM me and I'll send ya some lame but unique rhythm mp3z to solo over to get the brain buzzin. :heavydrink:

It's a safe bet to assume we won't be hearing any SYL, even if The Dev's presence is later confirmed. Maybe a few of us should get a couple of SYL songs learned together for open mic. Would be fun! And I'd ask around for a good drummer, but we all know drummers don't know how to use a computer. :lol:

Okay alllll........I am about to jump outta my skin over here....first day of QUITING SMOKING....aaagggghhhhh.....I can do this...Ive done it before...such a hard task to start...but mind over matter is what I say and from there I should be good after about 4 days....this is my birthday present to myself....because I deserve it!!! .....wish me luck that I succeed...(and I will succeed)....I just hope nobody gets hurt in the process..lol :beerwink:

just don't trade one addiction for another though ... i've seen folks go from smoking to an eating frenzy (as food taste better after quitting)

i'm so glad that smoking was one bad habit i never picked up. (people I know say it's one of the hardest substances to quit)

GRRRRR!!!!

Power in the whole neighbourhood went out for 5 minutes today while my PVR was recording something and when it came back on POOF!! About 60 hours worth of shows, concerts, movies and other stuff I'd either been saving or had yet to watch was GONE!! No restore available. Just poof! :evil:

Sure 3/4 of it was crap I'm sure I can live without but damn... I'd rather have made those choices myself
