Back at the gym tonight after a week of binge eating and no exercise

Felt so good to be back my muscles are sore already, although my cardio still sucks more than ever. I want to go running the streets since it's harder than running on the treadmill and I feel I will benefit more but it's out of my comfort zone so I keep chickening out.

Note to self: While going for a run seems like a good way to burn off some steam during an extreme rage... it actually just makes it really hard to maintain a reasonable pace and makes that final stretch really really hard to finish

Oh man, I hear ya. Pacing's the hardest part, especially when you're in rage mode.

even more so when you run right past the house of the person you want to destroy about halfway through your route, hence undoing any self control you'd attained

How's all my fitness buddies going? I'm still going to the gym most days - weights every second day (5000-6500kg total), cardio every day for 60mins (20 mins treadmill, cross-trainer and bike).

You are doing so well! You make me feel even more guilty about my laziness

I still haven't found a new gym routine yet, hopefully on Wednesday (when the soreness from the 14km is gone) I can start getting back into it.

I had a rough weekend eating-wise. It wasn't AWFUL, but could've been better. I've been pretty consistent in the gym, though the scale number doesn't reflect it, the way clothing is starting to fit and how I feel, definitely reflects some progress being made.

Tonight, it's legs and running.

this woman is feeling fat. time to hit it hard so i don't have to try and lose all this weight RIGHT before the cruise and make myself sick like i did last year. i have 5 months. yeah, go me. i don't think skinny is ever in my future, no thanks...but my clothes could at least fit properly!

i really would feel like i belonged here if this were called the Fatness Thread! at least i still kick ass in my Dojo!

Probably fits better here than the rejoice thread but definitely a nice little fitness related rejoice for me after work today.

A kid at work is getting serious about running so I decided to give him my old Timex Ironman watch with heart monitor. Doing so gave me permission to go get this:

Went straight from the store and the $170 price tag to the casino and made $195 and dinner in about 20 minutes then came home

I started doing a program called Crossfit about 3 months ago and today was brutal. Basically it was just a short warmup jog to a hill that we got to run up six times. It was about 100 meters and a pretty steep hill. My legs are dead.
The cool thing about it is I know that there is no possible way my fat ass could have completed that workout 3 months ago. So that's pretty awesome.

Question for anyone who goes to spin class... 1) Do you have spin shoes that clip in? and 2) do your toes/feet go numb after about 30 minutes....ankle pain...any foot issues?
