Damn Canucks are on a steady win one/lose one rotation so not making up any of the ground lost since falling off sharply months ago. Shut out the Penguins then lose to the Wild, tough win in Chicago last night so I suppose we'll hand the damn Beantowners 2 easy points tomorrow night

Big Evander Kane trade looks to be good for both clubs. Winterpeg's gonna be an exciting town this spring if they make the playoffs. Playing a classic, tough to play against style of hockey this season.

I keep forgetting to make picks in HTC but would likely be close to the basement even if I remembered them all haha. Pool with Chris is another story though. Came from behind to put him in the rear view mirror in the past month or so haha

Please do. Bruins are struggling to hold on to that second wild card spot right now. Need to make a couple of moves or punt on the season and try to free up some cap space. Lacking a reliable scoring right winger and a #4 dman.

I was surprised Winnipeg got as much as they did for Kane given his injury and the fact that they pretty much had to trade him. If Kane regains form and Buffalo's McEichel pick works out, they could be a team on the rise.

They get a second shot at the Canucks Tuesday. Let's hope for a better result. Well that was a terrible road trip for Boston. Ended on a high note with the 6-2 slaughter in Chicago at least. Now Krejci may be out for an extended period of time so those playoff hopes are dwindling.

The Coyotes had a Hall of Fame exhibit at the arena for the past couple of games. It had a few of the end of year trophies and some Team USA and Team Canada memorabilia. Oh, also this thing called the Stanley Cup was there. That was really cool to see. We also briefly met Phil Pritchard, the Keeper of the Cup. Nice guy.

Great story going on in Ottawa right now that I would be rooting for in other circumstances, but I need them to lose until the Bruins can leapfrog Washington and Detroit. Looked like Boston was gonna snatch that first wild card spot from Wash this weekend but the Caps kicked their asses last night.

I am currently torn between hoping for Kings to make play offs and at the same time to fail. If they make it, I think it's going to be another wild run but if they fail, Kopitar can play in the world champs in Czech Republic and boost our chances to stay in the elite group through the roof

Well, at least the Kings are out. Bruins are as good as done now. Fuckheads couldn't get up for a couple of very, very important games this week. They need a bit of help even if they win Saturday. May see some big changes in the offseason. McDavid would look great in the spoked B.

I missed a few plays and a little too much motion laterally on a few cost me. Don't worry Chris. They're gonna ride Eddie like the stud he is and Miller will only be used sparingly unless shit goes South in a big way which won't happen until at lest the 2nd round so he'll have had lots more healing and practice time to get back into his top form. I think we're pretty strong at that position. Calgary's youth, speed and tenacity worry me as they've had a great rebuild year but then so have we in many ways. It's gonna be a real hard fought and exciting series but I'm confident we'll prevail and move on to tougher opponents a couple weeks from now.

Hard to believe teams like L.A., San Jose, Dallas, Boston and even Philly are totally out of it this year. LA and Boston in particular are so surprising simply due their recent success but both played quite poorly when it really counted so perhaps some arrogance or over-confidence led to lack of drive or complacency in the rooms.

Lots of great hockey to look forward to. Cheering for a Vancouver vs Ottawa final but expect it to be Chicago vs Rangers
