So Goooood!!!
A guilty pleasure of mine...so good fortune for you.
I freaking LOVE this album - even though I'm an old school thrash/death chick this appeals to my power metal (albeit frozen) heart!! (I'm a fangirl for Dino Jelusick - would love to see his band get added to the cruise )
Dino’s voice is incredible! I enjoy everything he’s a part of. Along with Jorn Lande and Russel Allen, he’s among my favorite Dio-esque vocalists.
SAMEEEEEE!!!!! When Dino covered "Jane" with Holkstra and Portnoy I was floored~ Really talented young'un with a big voice~ Was hoping the Whitesnake thing was gonna spin off for him. But he's getting footing on his own which is better to fill his own shoes than those of others.AverageMetalDrummer wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2024 10:34 amDino’s voice is incredible! That was a really cool cover! He was recently involved in a collaboration paying tribute to Dimebag, in case you haven’t seen it:Aibrean wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2024 8:22 am

Jorn's stuff with Avantasia - loved it! (Pretty much ever guest vocal for Avantasia has been stellar!)
I did not see this one - I thought you were referring to this one where he did a Pantera Cowboys set live- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yS-HyMAe7Y4AverageMetalDrummer wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2024 3:47 pmThat was a really cool cover! A bit different from his typical style, but it shows that he could step in for Phil anytime.
I really dig Jorn’s stuff with Avantasia, Masterplan, etc. But his older solo stuff is really great to me. Also, surprisingly, the band Pentakill really showcases his range.
Par excellent...great recommendation!!!
It was an excellent workout soundtrack for sure.
Did you check out the new track they released the other day? I'm psyched for the new album next month
Indeed I did see the youtube video. It inspired me to roll back the clock and spin some older offerings. Looking forward as well to hearing the new album in Feb 2025.DrinkMoxie wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2024 9:52 amDid you check out the new track they released the other day?
