Speaking of requests flooding in, I figured I should do an update now because we are about to be hit by a tropical cyclone and not sure how much long I'll have power for!!

2025 we ended up with only 12 bands from the top 100, and 12 with zero requests. And over 9,000 requests from 193 different people.

I'd like to see us beat all those numbers for 2026 (EXCEPT the zero requestors).

Currently 5,779 requests from 114 people, and about 2200 unique artists requested so far in total.

Note that ORANGE are bands that have NOT been on previously, and RED will be bands that are ruled out already, GREEN will be for announced repeating bands, and BLUE will be for announced bands playing 70k for the first time!

Cutting off at 11 requests for now gives us the top 86 (there are too many on 10 requests to list!). Helloween leading the way having pulled clear of Testament.

From one stats fan to another, when you build the wishlist, do you include just the band name or do you gather any other data before sending it off?

I have a handful of live music related spreadsheets and I'm just curious how in depth you go for something that Andy probably only looks at the name and how many people requested them
