NILE - drummer has apparently said he'll be doing a drum clinic on 70K in 2023

It certainly counts. It's also no guarantee because we've had multiple situations of bands having to cancel but never return (so far).

Gojira and Xentrix are two that instantly spring to mind.

A decent number of bands said "No we can't do 2023 but we'd love to do 2024" I would hope that Andy took at least some of them up on those offers and we could very well have at least a quarter of the line up solidified with around year before cruising

So I would keep looking at those bands we knew were asked would normally say yes as some of our strongest predictions (at least at this early stage of the game)

Since Angra will be recording their Pool Deck set, they're most likely to bring some guests
And they have a history of calling Tarja onstage, so why wouldn't Andy book her band since she could already be onboard?

Also, Angra has recent songs featuring Alissa and Doro, so Arch Enemy and Doro are names that could come strong on speculations

you're right about Doro, but i'm not sure about Tarja.. i mean, her tour with Marko Hietala seems like something Andy could look into..

Chris Boltendahl confirmed that Steelhammer has shows booked and arranged. I wouldn't be surprised if a 45 minute slot on 70K was one of them. We know Grave Digger is one of Andy's safe bet bands and this would give him some extra room to save Grave Digger from playing again until at least 2025

But Brazil is considered Latin America, since we speak portuguese and the language comes from latin origins and we are in South America... so 99% sure Andy meant Angra

Maybe that was the case, or maybe you were just a victim of some ignorant internet people, we know there are plenty out there from bascially every nation lol... but as I brazilian, I know Brazil is in Latin America. Latin America is basically every country in America with latin languages,like portuguese, spanish and french, so almost every country from Central and South America plus Mexico (as far as I know, Guyana and Suriname are also considered Latin America, but they don't speak latin languages.. but that's something else to be discussed in another forum )

Let's see how long that exclusivity lasts for a band with that specific amount of selling power (afterall, they were a first ten band when they last sailed)

I assume so yes. This is always the "fun" part because even if they didn't get announced, that doesn't mean it's because of FMC. Could be any of the other couple dozen reasons why a band doesn't do 70K

70K would make a great launch party for it :)
